Ray is all about the coal; I was asking him about it earlier today & he doesn't like the oil smell (diesel or kerosene)... me, I always thought the coal was a bit more 'sooty.'
It's amazing how you can operate a steam locotive while using a video camera... Excellent stuff, love how you have to shovel the coal in... My little G scale live steamer burns Butane.. peh... I like coal better lol.
Well, another great video from the Papasmurf7595 collection. Yes, indeed work has been done to that railroad since this video. Thats a nice engine. I think this is a youtube first that someone explains how water gets inside a boiler...haha... good explaining to the more than noob (me) noobs out there to railroading.
thats aweosme! sure youve had lots of memories on that thing. Im 13 and trying to get something similar. Everything is just so expensive!
