  • but a diesel engine is more robust that a gasoline engine bucuse electric parts takes more wea and tear then well oiled parts and diesel engines are mostly mechanicly driven =P

  • Lots of this info is flat out wrong! The proper air pressure in not written on the sidewall of the tire. It's on the door frame sticker. Do not change your oil "every 3000 miles." Change it as per the owner's manual. Duh.

  • Oh, I thought it said cat!

  • Step 7: Something obvious that anyone would know

  • AIDS?

  • i call FAIL! on this video if you dont know what your doing stay out from under the hood of your car!

  • Nice Impreza hatch in the vid.

  • bahahaha!!

if your trying to be sexy dont bother who would want to " keep you company" when your sick as hell.. thats just disgusting

  • do you have the slut flu??

  • But I thought the steam-powered car was built in 1886, by dahmler instead of 1884...

  • Nothing damages an engine more than revving it before the oil reaches it's optimum temperature. Perhaps that was worth mentioning.

  • toyota celica gt-s

someone got 200k miles out of it.

he's selling it cause he's gettin somehting new.

  • ....and why are we not using the steam powered car if it is sooooo long lasting?

  • because steam takes a long time to power up, and its not going to last as long as a piston engined gas car

  • and what i mean by not last long is that it wont go as far of a distance than its counterpart

  • 'cause they're incredibly inefficient, and burn coal

  • I just notice that my electric steamer for clothing boils water fairly rapidly. I'm just saying...couldn't we just somehow update/improve/upgrade that whole steam thing?

  • dot kom

  • DON"T use low grade oil even if it has the same API rating.

Use only reputable brands of oil.

  • OUR CARS HAVE LIFES WOW

  • unlike you.

  • How to Lengthen the Life of your Dump

  • it's a normal impreza judging from the missing bonnet/hood scoop.

  • You know Howcast, you don't need to be a fucking selloff by giving us a 15-second commercial. The pop-up ad is bad enough sheesh.

  • lol i'm pretty sure wrxs do actually call for premium...

    unless that's a plain imprezza

  • @snoopyloopy Well it is obviously a stock imprezza

  • I don't like subarus

  • 1:05 WRONG, don't inflate tires to tire manufacture's specs, inflate tires to vehicle manufacture's specs which should never exceed tire manufacture's specs, if they do, you need different tires.. you can find the vehicle manufacture's tire specs in the owner's manual or on a placard inside the driver's door..

  • subaru impreza FTW!

  • subaru fans are so annoying. They are the raider fans of the car world...

  • How cast fails

    1) they left out power steering fluid , differntial fluid , transfercase fluid,

    2) The recommendations from the dealer are totally 100 percent way to early service intervals , they do this to keep you coming back faster for service.

3)Engine oil change is 3500/m or every 3 months whichever comes first

4)DO NOT INflate tires by what it says on the side of the tire. , Open your drivers side door you will see a metal plate there with proper inflation rear/front

    5) Use CLIK add.

  • sorry, i mentioned the tire inflation mistake before i seen your comment.. and you caught a lot more then i did.. however, diff & TC fluid aren't in all vehicles.. if you didn't know much about cars, you'd look for a TC for a long time on a honda civic.. but a very impressive list otherwise..

  • tire's are so expensive

  • Tire's what? And who is Tire?

  • @VictimOfBoredom car maintenance in general tires are expensive and you must change them often

  • I'm afraid you missed the point of my comment...

    Don't worry about it.

  • Maybe it's Count Sick N. Tire.

    The inventor of hot air.

  • Howcast get away your useless expert village is more expert!!!!

  • Ummm, howcast doesn't know jack shit about cards.

  • Maybe you should mention that in a video about cards.

  • Lol, I forgot only English people get sarcasm

  • There's nothing "sarcastic" about saying "first".

  • Exactly you don't understand sarcasm, you've just proven my point

  • Clearly you don't understand semi-colons either.

  • Why would I divide two dependent clauses with a semi-colon?

  • Neither "You don't understand sarcasm" nor "You just proved my point" is a dependent clause...

  • Woah, you're insulting someone on the internet. You must be super fucking tough

  • Woah, you're insulting someone on the internet. You must be super fucking tough

  • They forgot to include installing a platinized titanium-based electrolysis generator for producing hydrogen. When orthohydrogen mixes with gasoline, it turns your engine from being 33% efficient to around 98% with no harmful emissions. Since the burn is clean, there's no carbon residue to leave anywhere in the engine or out of it going into the catalytic converter. Really, you wouldn't need a C.C. on your car anymore. One less thing to have to replace, and no carbon means a longer engine life.

  • yes...... of corse

  • Wow, were do you learn this stuff from?

  • Been studying the effects of electrolysis and the reactivity of hydrogen in relation to it's use in gas and diesel engines for two years now. Hop over to my channel and look at my subscription list and favorited videos. If you really want to know more faster, drop me a PM and I'll send you some links.

  • dude you just blew my mind lol

  • What'll really boil your noodle is that NASA did abstracts, tests, and provided conclusive evidence that the introduction of hydrogen into a carbureted gasoline internal combustion engine does just exactly as I described. The effect may have been to a lesser degree as not much was researched into the proper materials, ratio of ortho to para hydrogen, ect. Not enough cooks in the kitchen. This has beeen solved via the web and this format allowing 36,000 available videos to piece it all together.

  • Oh yeah I forgot....Nasa discovered this blessing back in 1974.

  • You could make a cheap, crappy generator out of a stiff plastic card and a used guitar string....if you MIGHT have one lying around the house. It will work, but just well enough to produce some.

  • 3,000 miles? now that's a start??

  • Change the engine oil every 3,000 miles? Haha! I drive that in a few weeks

  • Damn Americans wasting so much gas and polluting the environment.

  • VictimOfBoredom, I'm British. I have to drive for work.

  • @Zlyzer DAMN!! but the 3k is for harsh driving conditions(under 40 mph average, stop & go traffic, extreme heat or cold, trips under 10 minutes, ect.) for 'average' conditions (highway) it's actually 7500 miles recommended, but still 3 months as oil looses it's additives over time..

  • first!

  • please dont do 1st comments even on horribel or ridicelus videos like this

    no one likes them

  • Wow sorry, did i mortally wound you?

  • what is this earthbound? (the mortally wound thingy)

i was just trying to give an tip,

btu if you really want to anoy people with 1st comments go ahead
