We race and still have a couple of two strokers on the team and I have the idle turned down as low as I can set it. I do not want my engines to idle!

what kind of work was done to the top end? what carb is that? what main and what pilot jets? what reeds? sprak plug gap?

DO NOT RUM PUMP GAS IN THAT MOTOR!!! FACT,stock zillas should never run pump gas let alone a modified one.

what fuel are you running? what oil @ what ratio.

I had the same problem. My quad wouldn't idle. Try cleaning the jets,valves any thing that comes out of the carburetor and if that doesn't work then try adjusting your idle and if that doesn't work then you will probably have to go see a mechanic. Hope this helps by the way your quad is beautiful!!! So SHINY and polished

Filter, Jetting, Carbs, Sync, Reeds, Reed Cages, Fuel Lines, Petcock, Fuel Filter, Fuel, Mixture, how old it is, if its dirty.. These things could all be problems, check to see if they are blocked/plugged, change the jets accordingly to your modifications, clean everything with brake cleaner..

i don't know half the shit you just said but yes it is the pipe if you look at the pipe it goes down from the motor at an extreme angle.and yes banshee big bore pipes fit the zilla's port.you know how its a banshee pipe couse it exits down from the motor for the banshees angled exhaust port.and plus you can tell couse the motor is running way below its avg rpm range.

Well, you're right. Kinda. If his compression was off it definitely wouldnt of started that easily. And anyone know has ever owned a zilla knows, if the jetting is off even slightly, they can be a pain to start. Zillas come from the factory with detention issues and i've never seen a stock one with the correct squish clearance. And if that is a Banshee pipe he is killing his power. period. Looks like a 500 drag pipe to me with a sparky on it.
