  • Seems like ARC had some good ideas on mind when creating the ARC box, but it also seems like they couldve designed a better flow pattern for the intake.

  • hey..i bought this exhaust system..amuse r1 titan extra (dual) ..and i have a berks test pipe and AEM v2 CAI..do you know if the exhaust gives any hp gains?

    can you make an estimate of my car on a dyno? a bit over 210 whp maybe?

    sorry never dyno'ed with just the exhaust. I felt like I lost some low-end torque but my corner entry speeds were a tad higher ...may have been the weight savings too so it's hard to say

    it's hard to predict hp =) if you have a good solid motor, you 'may' already have 210whp with no mods =)

  • you all do have to remember that honda didnt leave us much room for improvement. 100+ horses per liter is saying that they did their homework. NA power is hard to improve on. Turbo is really the only way to see noticeable power upgrades. Intakes/headers/exhausts just move the power around in the powerband

  • lol that's a nice looking intake box...not something I'd pay a premium for if all you do is get a throatier sound under full throttle. Thank god I shook off the idea of getting one before it was too late. AEM all the way.

  • How can you say the ARC is just 4 look it's one the BEST induction kits out there.

    If not the best for VTEC engines.

  • Anytime you build an intake out of metal - heat soak becomes an issue and the air flow path is questionable.

  • why dont you add aluminum brush sink around your intake.

    should lower your temps if its good enough to lower temps in chemical lines.

  • @dorikin86 Torque does not make you faster HP does.. I would rather have 5-10 more hp than 5-10 less torque

  • Probably slow as hell. I don't drag race - road racing is what the s2000 was really built for.

  • 202 whp and not sure about torque.

    every dyno is different - you should really use dyno only to show gains as you mod your car. I did not do a baseline dyno.

  • ARC is nothing but look. Don't expect it to gain anything.

    I wouldn't say that for everything else. Have you tested all their products?

  • you have to have a good tune as well to show a better gain. you cant just slap on some parts and expect it to gain "x" amount of power/torque

  • Absolutely true - but not having 'any' gain is a little disappointing. The sound was worth the money though =)
