  • the korean hanbok looks the most distinctive. same with their writing, hangul. some of the hanfu looks kimono and some kimonos looks like hanfus..-__- its really confusing

  • I like every one of them and they're sooo beautiful. Hanfu should be the traditional clothe not Qipao

  • 日本や日本人を他のアジア諸国と一緒にしないでほしい。

    韓国や中国と比べないでほしい。

  • fuck chinese, japanese and korean dress, cambodian are the best

  • korean> china=japan

  • I want to wear it lol

  • ChineseSlaves is an japanese nationalist

  • lol Hanfu's the ugliest one among these three costumes. actually the Chinese are far uglier than the Japanese and Koreans.

  • I love all 3 traditional dresses, they are beautiful in their own way, I'll wear all 3 anywhere lol but the qipao i'll just wear that to a chinese party not a traditional party but a have fun chinese party.... Thats all im saying lol but I love Asia And Asians... Its somewhat in my blood

  • @Zhaominmin1987 cud u plzz post some info/video on how weddings are carried out in china/japan/korea???? PLZZZZZZZZZzzzzz

  • to me the Japanese kimono is like youth, korean hanbok is for like pregnant woman and chinese hanfu is for sexy woman lol cause the kimono is all straight the hanbok is makes you look pregnant and hanfu is curvy

  • @natsumi723727 racist japanese.

  • The three of them are beautiful, but i'll definitely wear Kimono and Hanfu :)

  • i like both kimono and hanfu! they are elegant!! especially, kimono seems to be an art piece!!!

  • you forgot Vietnam!!!

  • ..very feminine and very beautiful!

  • Zhaominmin1987,

Thank you for posting the video. The dresses are gorgeous!

  • I love wearing the Hanbok, but those shoes. UGH!!! I hated wearing those shoes!

  • :) I quite like all of them. I feel as if the Kimono and Hanbok are very cute and pretty, then there is the Hanfu, which seems so elegant, less cute but more feminine (does that make sense?). Ahh~ I wish we could wear traditional clothes more.

  • i think all 3 dresses are beautiful in their own way :)

the hanbok (i've worn one) is beautiful in a simple way. it's also really easy to put on and take off.

the hanfu looks really feminine and beautiful, not puffy and slim. not sure about whether it's easy to take off tho xD that's only cos i haven't worn one

as for the kimono, the ribbon at the back looks really cute :)

some of the things i said might bee wrong but still..my point is they're all pretty in their own way xD

  • Hanfuは古き良き中国のイメージにぴったり。二胡を弾いてる姿が似合いそう。

    けど夏祭りの浴衣が一番好き

  • To me they're all the same. The kimono and hanbok are just different variants of the hanfu.

  • I love kimono!! is really beautiful!!! ^_^

    俺は♥日本だよ!!

  • i love Kimono and Hanfu!!!

hanbok? hanbok is trash of trash .crap !! LOL

  • all of them are beautiful:)

  • @K2Alpha1 I think so too

  • I love Hanfu!! Kimono is copycaft of Hanfu

  • Hanfu!! Yeh!

  • Hanfu 'cause I'm dating Chinese girl

  • Korean Hanbok is not real they are lier !

  • Kimono and Hanfu are my Favorite! XD I just wish i could wear those Hanfu, they look so Gorgeous in any way! Hanfu might look simple but they much more Beautiful than Kimono or Hanbok! Oh well, probably if i went China or Taiwan,i might sure to wear Hanfu and took LOTS of pics with it XD

  • Qipao is the best

  • Hanfu is the best. Kimono evolved from Hanfu and Korean Hanbok totally copied Hanfu in Chinese Ming Dynasty......LOL

  • all of them are beautiful but kimono is the most elegant out of all

  • I like Kimonos the most!

  • sorry we already knew it. i know Ming and Qin from TV academic feature about ancient china in big ship travelling to Africa, and building Great Wall. Qin & Ming ppl wear long hair long robe, we already knew these are ancient china of intelligence million thousand years agao. qipao are recent and modern dresses of opium eaters and prostitutes or chicks. The world knew ppl eat opium or poor wear qipao.

  • does anyone know the name of this song? I really like it! :D

  • @xxthefluffybunnyxx Yup! The name of the song is 皓水莫负 by 墨明棋妙. The guy who posted this vid blatantly stole it off someone else on tudou.com or something, so when asked for the song name he didn't know.

  • East Asia is the most beautiful culture in my opinion. The colors and textures of the clothes are exquisite.

  • well why not love them all

all of the are east asian and i know that there are a lot of hatred with this three countries i think we should unite as one

  • oooh..., no wonder hanfu is looks like the combination of hanbok and kimono

  • Ugh, I totally like the hanfu more than qipao. I was always like, why is qi pao called the Chinese traditional clothing? Since hanfu came first :P Ugh, I'd much rather wear hanfu than qipao!

  • @Jialisayshi

    YES!

I'd much rather wear Korean costume than so-called Qipao----at least Hanbok is almost identical to our costumes in the Sui and Ming Dynasties.

In fact, I'd rather go naked than wear the clothes of the people who conquered and ravished us----to be naked would be less shameful.

  • @thepalacemaid

    I love Hanbok.

  • @Jialisayshi :X Qipao is just the clothing of the people who conquered China and forced (often with threat of death) to take up their customs (and their stupid half-bald haircuts).

  • @skyemptyhollow yeah, I know that lol it wasn't really a question

  • @Jialisayshi Oh, I wasn't really saying it particularly in reply to you. It's more like, your comment prompted mine, ahaha~

  • @skyemptyhollow you 4got the piggytails. btw the male hanbok is showing the magua type influence by the piggies. should show the dopo and daopo type.

  • @Jialisayshi The chinese hanfu had been worn by the people of han (chinese) for thousands of years. The fall of chinese emperor to Manchurian established qing dynasty and has dramatically changed their clothing (including hairstyle) and many of their cultures. I personally prefer hanfu over qipao and in my opinion qipao is manchurian's clothing not chinese!

  • @mantiskitarq Yeah, I know that already :P

  • @Jialisayshi hanfu is hanpeople traditionaldress qipao is manchu traditional dress manchu people force hanpeople to wear qipao if not will give them to kill >< sorry for my broken english

  • @Jialisayshi I prefer qipao just to be original !! Other people can think that hanfu is an immitation of Kimono.

  • they're all beautiful but i love the hanbok the most! y? colors are beautiful and simple. majestic like. i love how the top is very short and cute with a long bow. the kimono looks uncomfortable and im not a big fan of too many designs and shapes. i do like the bow in the back. also i saw this hanbok where the girl has a rainbow pastel skirt underneath a thin see through skirt, it was soo pretty! love the layering and poofiness in the hanbok, so cute and pretty

  • i think i'd wear the hanbok and hanfu, since they look relatively comfortable (lots of skirt space)... the japanese kimono, i generally wouldn't wear since it doesn't allow for a lot of space in the leg area.

they're all very gorgeous, of course.

  • I thought Korea never had technology to dye their clothes so all their clothes were white. so colourful Korean Hanbok did not exist or were only for the royal family who could afford to buy the garments from China.

  • @Thegus0

Many Ancient Korean Government porvided wearing white Clothes but Korean people still wore white clothes, becuase of Korean has some kind of Pride from wearing White Clothes, becuase of Korean called 白衣民族White-wear Race since 부여Buyeo Dynasty which strongest Ancient Kingdom in northern manchuria. and there was need Dyeing technology to make white clolor.

  • Japanese Kimono and Korean Hanbok were all developed from Chinese Hanfu in Han Dynasty and Tang Dynasty.Because that time China was the superpower in Asia.

-> Are you sure?華夷思想? hahahahaha xD

You Chinese people used to learn that kinda manner from school? 眼下無人? 厚顔無恥?

  • @SNSDTVgeneration

    It's 目中無人。

No Chinese people don't learn that kind of manner. I'm a Chinese myself. It's not to insult the others and you used the words wrong. We don't look down on others. That zouzhengliling is a asshole. You should have seen the comment below you. We respect others too. I really don't know which came first, but who cares. We're all Asian, no need for the arguement. I somehow have a feeling that you are Korean.

  • @Samhiuys

I meant to say there are no evidences that "Japanese Kimono and Korean Hanbok were all developed from Chinese Hanfu" If it was, we could know that easier than any! As I pointed his history out, he got some "華夷思想". Of course, NOT all of Chinese people. But there's always some Chinese people who thinks that all East Asian culture came from China. That's all.

  • I'm pretty sure Chinese hanfu came first, and that the kimono, and hanbok, is basically a derivative of the hanfu. Personally I believe the original is the best, hence hanfu wins hands down.

  • I think Hanfu is in the middle because if u look close, u will see a lots of elements from Kimono but in the end of the video, the Chinese Hanfu borrows elements from Hanbok, like the big skirt from 3:23 but every style has its own beauty ^^

  • @iKimonomono1 May i ask, how so?

  • 3:55

    EWWWWWWWW

  • there is no hanbok in korean culture.

gook culture has taken from their Japanese masters.

  • @GetTpOrDIE Excuse me? I wear the Hanbok dress every new years so yes, it is in our culture.

  • HANFU ;D sexy girls

  • Asian Kimono, Hanfu, Hanbok > European Renaissance dress

Asian martial arts > European Martial arts

    Asian history > Western History

Asian wisdom & humility > Western arrogance & overconfidence

    Asian food > Western food

    Asian technology > Western tech

    Asian culture > Western Barbarism

  • @aa3gunner your comments just made us sound more arrogant and ignorant than the west

  • @Jake4595 Not when it's the truth. I'm letting Westerners know the truth.

  • @aa3gunner no ,thinking oneself is better than the other makes yourself more ignorant and arrogant

  • @Jake4595 For centuries the West has done nothing but bully, exploit, and rape the cultures of Asia and other nations around the world. Were it not for the strength of a few like Siam and Nippon, Europe would have gotten their way completely. They think they're so good. They think everything belongs to them. They're nothing but racist bullies. It's time to turn the tables. Now get on with your stinking life, you White Devil.

  • @aa3gunner ok

  • @Jake4595 lol

  • @aa3gunner I don't see what you are trying to prove other than your racist against Westerners. Perhaps some are arrogant and overconfident, but you just proved yourself no justice. In fact its hypocritical of you to say that.

Im disgusted you show such lack of respect against a country and the culture.

    You are no better.

  • @anime0pop I'm the one who's racist?? Don't act like you know what you're talking about. The West has done nothing but bully, insult, and belittle cultures that are not their own. When they visit other countries, they act like they own everything and everyone. Those arrogant fools look down on passive Asians who just suck it all in. Why do you think so many ASian films portray White people as the bad guys?? Because it's TRUE. I suggest you keep your mouth shut on things you know nothing about.

  • @aa3gunner But you making a list makes you no better! Its totally racist of you regardless if other people do it. Because of people LIKE YOU racism unfortunetly is going to be hard to get rid of. Racism is everywhere don't even start saying that America is worst cause you're not only insulting europeans but also asians considering many live here. Since you're so smart why dont you take a look at Bataan death march and tell me asians are full of wisdom and humility. -continue-

  • @aa3gunner I respect asian culture, but you're just a sick racist. And your list is just opinionated, don't act like its some accurate facts.

  • @anime0pop Oh, they're accurate, all right. The white devils have done nothing but push their "superiority" propaganda on everyone. This time, it's the Asian's turn to belittle the Whites. Asia is the future. Now go away you White devil trailer trash redneck

  • @aa3gunner And you call yourself not racist!? You're a scum of the earth! Im Greek and im proud of my history and ethnicity and i wont let anyone ever look down on it. I respect Asian culture, but i don't even think Asians would ever be as racist as you. Grow up, you're a pathetic human who has no respect for anyone. Asia would be ashamed to have people as yourself making racist comments as such.

Fuck you. You're disgusting and truley are a racist menace to society.

  • @anime0pop Respect is earned. If the white devils want to be respected they should respect others too. They're the ones who enslaved, exploited, pillaged, and colonized other cultures for centuries. The British, the French, The Spanish, and the Portuguese all had delusions of their "superiority".

Before you continue an argument, I suggest you study World History first.

You're pathetic for not seeing the truth. You're naive and gullible. I hope you White Devils rot

  • @aa3gunner You need to brush up on history if you don't think Asia never colonized other cultures within asia to. If you're trying to teach history you forgot a big part. Racist and ignorant. You're such a joke. You earn yourself no respect. Call whites devils all you want, you are worst than what you call others. What happened to your quoat of Asia has humility. You're delusional if you put yourself in that catigory. Humble a bit and learn Humility

Im shocked by how rotton of a person you are.

  • @anime0pop Don't even bother with people like that. They're nothing but angry racists who either develop alternate personas for the online world or they're just that sad to begin with.

  • @Bunnyroo7 Its sad to see people like this. I think they truley believe they arn't racist or radical, but if they used lagit reasons that wern't completley opinionated i might consider, but this person compared food. I feel like they are so narrow minded that they won't listen to a reason that makes sence or better than theirs because they don't want to be wrong. Oh well, i guess thats life i just hate knowing that people like that exist. =/

  • @aa3gunner

But the Mongols conquored half of Europe. We are all guilty.

What's with your hatred for caucasians?

  • @stirrednotshaken7 The Mongols' intentions were not to colonize and wipe out the cultures of the people they conquered, unlike the Europeans. Once Odegai Khan died, they all just left. They saw no reason to continue conquering Western barbarians (at that time) who had nothing to offer materially. Here, watch THIS : /watch?v=THSCchsNGww

  • I would like the hanbok more if it didn't look QUITE so wide. By reading the comments, I get that the form-hiding has cultural significance..I guess. To me the upper portion is beautiful, very pretty and elegant, especially the unique shape of the sleeves, but despite being half-Korean I can never seem to appreciate it as a whole dress. The hanfu and kimono styles are more beautiful to me altogether. Kimono feel restricting to me when I wear them, but the hanfu look so much more comfortable. <3

  • The hanfu it looks fun to wear! ^_^

  • Female "Kimono's" that normal female wear are bathing robe I think. The real everyday wear is the one geisha wears.

  • Hanbok is beautiful. But I like ALL. ASIANS UNITE TOGTHER! <3

  • @1234ppo000 AGREED! why can't there be more people like you and I D:

  • kimono all the wayyy ;)

  • They're all so pretty! But the kimono look like they'd be a bit constricting; with all the straight-line-ness of them, it seems like you'd have to be careful of how you move, or risk disturbing something. And sure, the hanbok does have a tent-ish look to it, but imagine how much more comfortable that would be than something more form-fitting.

  • Ppl who likes the kimono the best are obviously an otaku who watches anime and reads manga all day...

  • oh..Kimono,Hanbok and Hanfu are too Beautiful and Gorgeous!!! i can't pick either of those 3! they just way too Amazing! Proud and Lucky to be Asian!!! XD wish to be Asian again in my next life LOL :D

  • i love how almost all the time when ppl are wearing a kimono they have a reticule or purse with them

    <3 oriental culture

  • thumbs up for Hanfu

  • @Hanlin163

    Hanfu sucks

  • Here's my answer(opinion) I luv <3 kimonoz and yukataz but, I'll take all 3 of those dresses shit and I don't care, I'll take all the dresses in the world GO JAPAN!!!

  • I love them all! They're so gorgeous!

  • I like hanfu most (maybe I am being biased since i'm chinese but i also have my reasons) because there is more range of different styles, it can go from simple, to flow-y, to elegant and to sophisticated. with the kimono and hanbok (both of which I admire and love) there is less range of different style, it's mainly just change in the colour and patterns(of course I'm only counting what civilians generally would wear, not other costumes such as shrine maidens etc) .

  • How to download this video?

    Who can tell me plz

  • how to download video?

  • Hanfu resemble Kimono and both of Hanbok.

  • In case anyone is interested in the music, it's 皓水莫负 by 墨明棋妙.

  • They are all beautiful! Japanese is pretty, Korean is elegant and pretty, Chinese is beautiful and gorgeous!!!

  • As for clothes of China, I like one in the Tang Dynasty age. Because it is elegant. Because the one in Shing's age was a nation of horseback races, the modern period ones are too sexy. Though it is a problem of the favor.

  • i think a hanfu is just a chinese kimono.

  • @kao81811 Actually, its kinda the other way around since a kimono is more of a Japanese Hanfu because the Hanfu came first and the kimono was influenced by it XD But either way they are all lovely

  • @kao81811 hahahaha, switch it around, japanese kimono was heavily influenced by chinese hanfus. even overall japan was, it was named by china, used language of china, and kimono also influenced by china

  • Japanese and Korean clothes were heavily influenced by Chinese clothes

  • wow i like hanfu although im a korean. i think its very girly!! also i like hanbok. you guys dont know beauty of hanbok. you should chek the line of sleeve.

  • ahh so pretty..

  • Comment removed

  • @FilJapKiller First know im not asian at all. Im not saying anything bad about any culture, comparing 2 different dresses on looks only and nothing with culture is not something that should be getting replyed comments like jap monkeys. I highly respect japanese and korean culture. So dont call someone a sick coward bitch when the truth is you made a bad mistake for thinking im something when im not. As much as you hate the japanese is how much i hate racist uneducated people like yourself.

  • @FilJapKiller this is preference and their outfits, people like you that come on thsese videos to talk trash are really pathetic and i truly pity you and the fact that you have no class. Grow up and respect other cultures.

  • @anime0pop

watch ur comment carefully. its not ur preference but an ignorant comment from nuked Jap monkey bitch. get it? do u think u are deserved to talk about some class despite ur intentional obsesson on Korean costume? u sick. coward bitch.

  • chinese hanfu is better.

  • @FilJapKiller

    Whatever, daydreamer

  • Im korean and i like the chiense dress =) im nice hehe

  • I don't see the difference? O.o

  • nips ripped off the beautiful hanfu

  • 美就一個字!!!goodddddddddddddddddd!!

  • 韓国の服ってバリエーション少ないですよね…チマチョゴリしかないんですか?

    中国の服は美しい…和服も後半以降は好きです♪

  • how do the hanboks and hanfus feel? has anyone here worn them? ive only ever worn a kimono...didnt rly like it tho. kimonos are beautiful but have no space!! hanboks seemlike the hav the freedom but id say they dont look half as appealing ... but watabout the hanfus? ive worn qipaos and i like them but has anyone worn hanfus? are the comfortable?

  • east asians have the best costumes lol

  • @ZhangMingXuanIsABabe Are you kidding? How do they walk in those things? I am surprised my ancestors managed to travel from China wearing those, lol.

  • And the hanbok is cool too lol

  • Wow the Hanfu is soooo beautiful! The kimono too ;-D

  • @anime0pop Kimonos and hanboks are based on certain STYLES of hanfu (kimonos = Tang hanfu). That's why for them you will see distinct traits, whilst hanfu is a dress that has been worn by the Chinese people since ancient times. So, many styles have been developed over the time, with new philosophies, dress codes, etc. It's natural if you like some hanfu and dislike some others. :)

  • @anime0pop yeah being fat and wide is so nice of you to say

  • @detrolly im not saying that the person wearing the hanbok is fat, the image it gives off is a wider look. But then again thats the point of the hanbok; to hide the body. Im just not a big fan of that look and prefer the kimono...

  • @anime0pop With a username like 'anime0pop', I wouldn't expect any less (or more) of you.

Take these amazing cultures and their traditional attires for what they're worth and don't go about comparing them (I mean, 'big fat wide thing'? Really?).

  • @oppop30 Wow is your only fight against me is saying my user name? Just by saying that i can tell that you lack words and explanation and can't even get to a point. To add on to you ignorance and stupidity i want to point out to your attention i never once bashed any culture or any of their traditions. I truley respect them. However, basing it purley on looks was what i was explaining since you clearly didn't understand my straight foward comment.

  • @oppop30 And to add one more thing so i may enlighten you, me saying the hanbok gives a body and no shape and takes over the body by making it wide is the exact affect a Hanbok is supposed to have. It was designed this way to hide the female body, so go ahead and bash me for saying what its supposed to do. But also know by your remark you're are also insulting the Korean Culture. Pure ignorance from your part, and then you insult an opinion too. You truley have no respect for either.

  • @anime0pop Woah woah. All I'm saying is, don't use the words "big fat wide thing". The connotations of the words "big", "fat", "wide" and ESPECIALLY "thing" is very negative. It undermines the cultures and that is what I take offense at. Even if you don't mean it as being offensive, it comes across as such.

Before you fly off the handle again, I just meant to take the varying senses of aesthetics for what they're worth and don't deride the styles that don't agree with you as "things".

  • @oppop30 And maybe you thought that saying "fat thing" was offensive, but its just a word. Everyone seems to be so sensitive even though its not a big deal. Im going to say it once more. I was purley making a statement on the LOOKS of outfits disregarding culture completley. If what i said still bothers you thats too bad because im not insulting any culture of yours or any in asian whatsover. Now you can analyze both comments again, but i you'll finally see my point and that i made it clear.

  • @anime0pop And yes, I do know what I am talking about; my mother's a Japanese and my father's half-Korean. I read your comment with my friend/dorm mate who is of full Japanese-heritage and we both agreed that your word choice (intentionally or not) demeans the ethnic attire. There is a difference between saying that the shape is full-bodied/puffy and saying it is a "fat... thing". It is ethnic pride that makes me disagree.

  • @oppop30 Wow so you need to have a friend to analyze a comment? Are you that incompetant you can't do it yourself? Anyways regardless of my word choice im basing it on looks. Im not trying"demean" any ethnic culture. When i said "fat thing" i meant that it makes it look fat. Im not going to say sorry or take that back. I love Japanese and Korean culture and the country. However, im entitled to say what i want about the hanbok and i feel that it takes over the body end of story.

  • peoples.. who cares about what everyone else thinks.. personally hows this XD .. all the ladies in northern asia, wears all 3 styles.. that way.. we have PEACE ! .. i think..

  • @MegaMonsterbear Nonsense!! each clothing was originated from its own country.

  • Oh wow, all dresses are beautiful. But I like the Hanbok cause its just differernt..

  • Hanfu is origin of Yuan Dynasty(Mongol Dynasty when Yuan rule what is land called china). Mongol and Korean had alliance and treaty; they maintain peace by Mongol Princess marrying Korean Prince, and vise verse Korean Princess marrying Mongol Prince. The 1st Emporess of Mongol Emporer was Korean Princess(Loyal Line), and she brought her "Goryeo-yang fashion" or Hanbok clothing which was adopted by Ming Dynasty when Yuan lost control, and they adopted the Emporess Cloths as Hanfu.

  • @KiooMyAss it's true that women wore open chest type clothes but this came out during late 19th century and when korea came under Japanese rule tha banned it. THat's true but there's no historical record on open-chest cloth in korea. Women wore open chest clothes when they got their 1st baby as a boy.but no one know why this tradition suddenly came out during this period. and it's totally wrong if you think this was something like traditon had been practiced for over thousand years.

  • そういや、春用の着物買わなきゃな・・・

  • i like 4:27. lol

  • Too bad that Japan is 100% modernized + westernized

  • @nuggert Japan is modernized and easternized which is better than westernized in many different ways. They are very oriented advanced nation.

  • Korean Hanbok FTW!!

  • Im a fan of the hanbok personally.

  • pop fashion is garbage compared to this

  • and goguryu(koryu),baekjae, shinra people went to japan.

    they helped japan's development .

but japan eliminated their evidence in the Meiji Restoration.

besides japan eliminated josun's ancient book. destroyed cultural assets.

and insists josun, korea is fuck country. haha.

  • @ckfurtk

There is not the reason why Japan removes only a book before Korean the twelfth century daringly.

If Japan removed a Korean book, Japan would burn all books.

    Korea is Sinocentrism.

In other words the history of the King who dominated a past is crossed out if King to rule over of a race changes.

  • @ckfurtk

It is said to be lineage of Mongolia Lee Sonngye.

When Lee Songgye uses Chinese power and he murders king Koma and took a country away, it is thought that Lee Songgye crossed the history before the Korai King.

  • @ckfurtk Don't forget they murdered more chinese than entire Korean population combined. Not very smart nation back then.

  • josun was not wealthy because closed the country.

but josun had science. you insists josun didn't have science right?

japan had science from western in modernization. not east asia science.

    sometimes japan accept josun's science,technique.

    and Korean history is josun,koryu,goguryu(koryu),baekjae,shinra...
