  • @txf063000 this enables the bowler tp produce a smooth full followthru. If u just chuck the ball it can co anywhere but if u employ this free swing it creates good release and consistancy

  • ive been bowling for 2 years and can already control the virtual gravity nano

  • For some reason it really pisses me off when the bowler in the video waves his arm back and forth a lot after he throws the ball. What the hell is up with that?

  • @txf063000 off camera they are really just flicking off the pins before the ball hits :D

  • i like how the first virtual gravity was thrown .. close to how i throw it

  • Too bad season is over. I really wanted this ball and just never got around to buying it. Seen some good scores with this ball. Hits Hard. Looking forward to buying the Invasion soon here to have ready for next season. But who knows what great ball storm will come out with next. Storm #1!!

  • heyy man yea im startin to clean it more often and it seems to be doing better.. i actually polished it some and it does turn alot more at the end soo its doing pretty good now;)

  • heyy man yea im startin to clean it more often and it seems to be doing better.. i actually polished it some and it does turn alot more at the end soo its doing pretty good now;)

  • the Storm Invaasion is ok it starts to hool 3 feet sooner that the Virtual, the Mutant Cell makes them both look they are standing still and they all are storm products.

  • looks like this ball knows no deflection off the break point lol

  • the ball sucks oil up and sweats it out hardcore. so you have to get it cleaned often. thats the only problem im having so far but the ball is good.

  • everyone ive seen throw this ball hasnt had much luck and i get a way stronger and a harder hit with my storm domination

  • this ball is def a good ball. when i got mine drilled i loved it and it hit hard and rarely leaves me the 10 pin. but now it seems like the ball doesnt seem too grip the lane as much and keeps sliding and then starts too go. this is only on fresh oil. it still carrys great but it seems like some hook has gone away and oesnt hit as hard but still carrys good.

  • Take better care of the ball man, clean it after you finish playing

  • Okay, I a average bowler. I usually score around 190 - 220. I have been using a ball that does not hook as much as I want it to. So if I am looking for a ball that has a major hook will this be good for me?

  • @LuckyBambooExpert this ball would be good for you in terms of hook but if you want a ball stronger than this and will hold better overall get the Storm Invasion when it comes out on Jan 28 or preorder it

  • @LuckyBambooExpert

Don't listen to that blade guy, the storm invasion is ment for people on a heavy heavy shot, and you have to be able to control it, no one really needs an invasion, but either get this or the Mutant Cell , Made by Roto Grip which Makes Storm

  • @LuckyBambooExpert in terms of hook, its beast, u can play many angles, u can carry long, or drill it for shorter break point, as with any ball tho, however, with the cover stock and core combo meshing so well together..its a good ball to consider..i just got it today..and im not a cranker i dont put massive hook on the ball but enough to see how well it breaks, this ball has a tendency to absorb oil, BUT if u got a dishwasher, put it on FULL cycle and itll clean up nice..and wont harm the bal

  • i throw a jigsaw hammer sauce and blue vibe....this ball is awesome!!!i wanna replace my vibe with this next

  • im not saying it was a mid price ball im saying its a mid reactive ball.. my friend bought the furious and all his other stuff could hook circles around it.. he got it for dryer conditions tho so he wanted a weaker ball.. thats all im saying

  • this ball reminds me of brunswicks twisted fury how it rolls down lane and snaps really hard at the break point great ball

  • im an ebonite guy, but this ball just might change me

  • Same here. I am moving from a XXcel to this. Picking it up this weekend!

  • the Furious is only a mid reactive ball

  • This ball is really good. It hook alot on a house pattern. If i miss my mark it goes to high in the pocket and if i hit my mark good it strikes good.

  • well hopefully it does that with any ball you use lol.

  • i love this ball, im a huge fan of the really snappy backend reaction, and this has got to be the nastiest backend ive seen out of anyball, best ball ive ever gotten, a bit unpredictable when first thrown, but after a few games and breaks in, nothing can beat it

  • i've had this ball since christmas o8 and i threw it on the cheetah same reaction as it was out of the box i ended up lofting a bit to keep it on the right side pf the head pin lol but i did shoot 235 with it and 214 with my second demension

  • What is the best layout that someone has used? I know it depends on the lanes and the bowler, but I was wondering what was good and what was bad so I can get mine drilled with proper advice.

  • It really does depend...the best thing I did when I was starting out was asking league bowlers if I could throw their ball once or twice and see the difference. That way you can find out what you need. Personally for me, I have every ball drilled weak because I have a lot of natural hook that I can't control. I have the pin right next to the center of gravity. Some people have to have the ball drilled for more backend. No one can really answer your question correctly. I would just experiment.

  • out of box is literally out of the box. its like stock. you can choose to shine it up for more control but that defeats the purpose of the virtual gravity. its susposed to hook atot on heavy oil. obv not for beginers

  • I shined my Virtual Gravity and it works alot better. It makes it a lot more controllable...it was too much ball for me at first.

  • Is this ball for beginner's or more advance?

  • Can someone tell me what does it mean by surface out of box?

  • OOB means factory finish and surface grit.

VG is OOB @ 4000 grit, no polish.

  • the factory finish you get on the ball just after drilling - without any alterations to the surface of the ball.

  • when the surface of the ball is factory finish. like you just pulled it out of the box.

  • it seems he throws it slower in this video.

  • im 14 and im a cranker im currently using the black widow pearl and the angular one and the jynx and im looking for one or two new bowling balls and recomendations

  • this ball 4 sure

  • that depends on what you want out of a ball.

  • hi!

i'm a interstate bowler from malaysia!

i wondering , i want to buy a brand new ball!

i have 2 choise iether virtual gravity and 2nd dimension

    and i'm crancker!

which one is better for me?

i need an opinion from all of you

  • i had the same problem....choosing between the 2...my coach told me the 2nd dimension would be better because its not as jumpy as the virtual....and i'm a cranker also, so get the 2nd dimension, because the virtual is too much ball for a cranker without killing it with a week layout....or i'd recommend the virtual energy

  • virtual gravity buy far is very contrallable

  • I've been bowling about 3 years, left hander playing on medium oil. looking to get a new ball should this be the one? I have the scorching inferno any suggestions?

  • For medium oil the Virtual is probably going to be too strong. If the oil you need a ball for is long, I'd say a roto grip illusion as they are particularly good. If it's shorter I'd go with something solid, maybe a regular dimension. If it's somewhere in the middle or you don't know, both the storm hy-road and the ebonite gamebreaker are phenomenal choices.

  • you should probably get a pro performance pearl ball, like the roto grip cell pearl, ebonite the one pearl, or any of the black widow series.

  • what bowling center is that

  • best ball 3va

  • Man this ball is outrageous. I love the way it drives without deflection, and its a 15pounder at that. To everyone saying its too strong, there are 2 bowlers in my league who have it highly polished and it substantially lessens the overall hook, and it goes noticably longer.

  • I like how the new storm stuff doesnt die out. best company out right now.

  • Take a look at lanemasters/legends there stuff doesnt die out. But no balls die out if you take care of them

  • That was for pookieruiz

  • y wud u compare the virtual to the dimension?

  • i havnt seen a virtual gravity being bowled with w/o at balance hole, i really wanna see what it does

  • hey my next ball will be the black widow pearl, the virtual gravity or the morich levrg which one should i get? or is there another i should get? i have the twisted fury right now...i need a ball that hits like a ton of bricks and the twisted isnt even close to that

  • get the virtual.... its very controllable and predictable and its possibly the hardest hitting ball ive seen/ thrown

  • go for the virtual, the black widow pearl is way old... the virtual is arguably the best ball on the market and out of the box for like the first 20 or so games itll be hard to control but itll slow down after that so u have to take gud care of it and only use it for heavier oils otherwise ur gunna overuse the coverstock

  • I'm a beginer.....im looking to buy my first reactive ball...should this be the one???....they said the fury

  • i have the fury i've been working with that ball for over a year and i love it. i mean everyone loves the ball they use. but i like my ball hook right away. i also have the venom which hooks later i like it too but i play better with the fury

  • should I get the twisted fury....or gravity...consider im a beginer

  • fury from what i think. thats my p.o.v or if you want u can wait until probably later on tonight or tomorrow because thats when im getting the gravity and will be testing it. i'll let you know

  • he said beginner. how the hell is a kid like that going to control a ball like that? come on now!

  • well fury isnt a bad choice. at least he dint ask about black widow which he definitely will get confuse when he toss it down the lane.

  • first of all why the fuck is someone going to listen to you when you cannot compose a fucking sentence? that reply had to be decifered before read.

secondly, do you realize that an inexperienced person will not know what to do with any of the bowling balls listed because THEY CANNOT YET CONTROL THEM. quit giving advice and stick to your day job if you are even employed you worthless piece of shit.

  • @Musicalbowlrkat300 i agree, im 13 and can hardly control my misson, and also it says the VG and dimension are the same layout...when they arent

  • @bigjoe577485 haha

  • Go with the Gravity Shift, it's the most value for the money. Brunswick Balls hit like a marshmallow after 20 games. (waste of money) storm keeps it's out of the box tack much longer. I've probably thrown 50+ games on mine and still hooks like new. but for the beginer the Virtual Gravity may have a little too much skid and flip properties to control, Pending on your ball speed of course. That's my reccomendation.

  • considering that you are a beginner, i would say that you should get a different ball all together. storm produced a line called the tropical storm series, and those balls are cheap and not very aggressive. it will be an easy, controlable ball for a good price. the fury and the gravity are WAY too aggressive for a beginner.

  • i got the virtual gravity yesterday nd its pretty amazing. i think its a good choice but if your not consistant then your shots will be all over the place. you might feel like your not getting any better. but its up to you. i still think fury is a good choice for a first ball. let me know what ball you gona get and how it is for your first couple of games.

  • beginner = plastic ball

  • deffinately not this one... way to strong... but stay in storm they r very gud balls, i would say go with a banshee if u can find one thats what i started with 3 years ago and im in love with it its a great ball

  • Not bad choices but since you are still learning I would recommend a less aggressive ball. The Tropical Storm line may be better for you right now or even something like a Raw Hammer, an Ebonite Tornado or an old Brunswick Power Groove. Again, the ones you have chosen are still great choices but you need to learn how to control an aggressive ball before buying one.

  • have you noticed that this ball is just a league ball?

i have seen this ball used in 2 PBA matches

all the bowlers with storm are using balls that don't hook as much, giving them more control, like the hyroad

  • greatest ball known! i shot my first 300 and 2 299s wit it!

  • ok... i'm planning on getting a new bowling ball. right now i have a red zone, twisted fury destruction, classic zone, deep danger zone and danger zone.

should i get the uprising, virtual gravity or keep the ones i have?

  • For what conditions/reasons are you buying a new ball? I would say don't buy a new ball if you're having success already and you are only buying one just "to buy" one. Do you have problems on really heavy oil? Very dry? Transition game as the lane breaks down and you need a compliment ball for the ones you have? Assess your needs and situation. I too was looking for a ball and was doing a lot of research. I settled on Cell Pearl based on my needs (and cash lol).

  • Make sure you get this thing drilled more aggresively if you're a tweener like me in a pba experience league. This thing WILL NOT MOVE NOT EVEN ON THE CHEETAH if it is drilled weakly. I rip on it a whole bunch and it does not move.

  • getting one drilled, it was ready 2 days ago but i couldnt go get it because i was sick with a fever and strep....damn sicknesses...but hopefully either today or tomorrow il get it, along with a new spare ball

  • i polished mine and got alot better reaction

  • Getting mine in tomorrow. But won't get to throw it til saturday. I'm a tweener and I'm going to get this thing drilled strong hook with strong continuation. Going to fill the high oil ball slot in my arsenal and hopefully allow me to play some deeper lines that I just couldn't hit with my other balls. I have also been focusing on adding revs when I need it with stronger hand position. the 5-6-7 method is a huge help for my hand and my mind so I hope the ball's reaction shows this well

  • Tell me good symmetrical bowling ball

  • polish the ball, made all the difference for me

  • maybe i suck because mine was over/under on house shot. have not tried on tourney shot yet

  • actually this ball work quite well on brooklyn too~

  • I'm thinking about getting the virtual to replace my old Special Agent. I haven't heard anything bad about this ball yet, and I'm kinda getting exited to get it lol.

  • does the way its drilled affect the ball in any way?

  • yea.... getting the pin put above or under your fingers make a big difference

  • how so?

  • well if its above the ring finger it makes a more agressive snap and if its under your fingers it makes a more of a rounded smooth transition to the pocket

  • getting this ball tommorow so excited im a medium rev bowler any suggestions on the layout

  • just ordered it do u think u can do a second arrow shot with it ??

  • u better throw hard bc its coming back

  • ya you better throw it hard as a bitch cause it'll come back high as hell, but if u have the pin placed under your fingures its gonna be more smooth and less high than if it was above ur fingures, it just depends on how hard u throw it and how much rev u put on it

  • I finally got to throw my new Virtual Gravity today. WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! It is 4000 Abralon finish and I had it drilled pin over to give it some length before it makes its move. I have never threw a ball with this much recovery. I could play some VERY extreme angles with it and everytime it came back it hit the pins like a Mac truck. My high game was a 267 with all strikes except for the 4th frame where I left a 10 pin standing and missed the spare. Overall I give this ball a 10+++!!!

  • this ball has the best recovery i've ever seen.......

  • I just bought one..I have medium revs..averaged 187 last year..bowling 3 games a week with no practice..first two games out of the box 221-224 (opened last 3 frames on the 221 game)I had the front 4 and front 7 on those games..bowling on a house shot..I had about 12 boards room depending on hand and speed..I went up to a light 16 # ball this time..I only left 2 10 pins in those games..This ball hits a ton..drilled for a house shot also....So far well worth the money..I'll find out Thursday night

  • ok i ordered mine and it hasnt came in yet but how is it hooking on heavy oil with a house shot drilling?? That is what im wondering if you bowled on a heavy oil pattern yet. Get back to me. Thanks

  • SO, could young bowlers, who are newer to the sport, use this ball?

  • totally its ideal for younger bowlers just learning to throw a curve because the ball give you so much give at the break point it works out nicely for new bowlers

  • True to an extent indiansoph59. This ball is very aggressive for newer bowlers since most of the time they are still learning how to throw a hook. That being said this ball is WAY too aggressive for newer bowlers because how can they use a ball that is too much for them to handle at such a young stage?

  • you have a point i will give you that given what type of lane or oil the new bowler sees. but if shined up a bit so it goes a bit longer given i may have misspoken you probably will want to start with something a bit less like (in the storm line) a jolt or even a t-road some other good ones are like any BVP ball from Brunswick or the bash and clash series from ebonite.

  • Good point as well because that is the number one factor. If it is shined up as well it will give the ball more skid. A T-Road may a better choice but it may still be a little more aggressive. However, it also depends how the new bowler will throw the ball as well.

  • wats a pin buffer?

  • when u layout a ball, u can choose how much pin buffer u want, like... how high the pin is going to be to the midlane

  • whoever your loyal to, this ball hooks and doesnt quit.. it rolls right through the pindeck and im lucky enough to have one of these balls already. I love it.

  • im wondering how did you get yours drilled and how is it on heavy oil with that drilling. Get at me. Thanks

  • omgit outhooks the dimension !! :P

    so sick xD

  • This one looks like a winner and I'm not a Storm fan.

  • This ball looks cool, although I am loyal to Hammer.
