@lolgrant, It was amazing as ALWAYS never seen a Pixies gig I didn't have a buzz on for a week afterwards... and I seem to remember a mass exodus of people as soon as they left the stage .. for the ahem ...' headliners.'.. Stereophonics.

which spoke for itself.. I remember at the time thinking it was sacrilege that they weren't the headliners that day , who the f thought that one up . must have seen the error of their ways, as thousands of people left as soon as changeover began.

The crowd at Old Trafford were great and then when they were done we all stayed to boo off the appallingly shite Steophonics. Even though from Boston, MA. they were always massive in the UK and particularly taken to the hearts of us Mancs. It was like a home gig for all concerned. I want to be there again.
