Storywise it sure is lacking, but the animation is pretty good. His true motivation and feelings weren't perfectly expressed neither in face nor action, but as a student project this is impressive.

I agree with sPizor. So much talent in rigging, modeling, texturing, rendering, and nothing in storytelling. This must have been a lot of work, but with a really poor story behind. If only you would have been helped or mentored in storytelling, this work wouldn´t be just good: it would be awesome.

I feel bad for you, for one, there was a story, and it's one of the oldest in the book, power corrupts, the main character had power, he could have went either way, good or evil, but the temptation to use that power is great, and often times sways those with it to the side of evil.

I thought that this story of morality was portrayed well enough, and the animation and other visuals were great..

So you suck, at life, and it's really bad for you.. So thinks b4 you speak..

I agree with you, i made this critics pretty fast and very ... agressive, for that i'm sorry, and you know, when i said this, i don't intend to be superior to you or anything like that, its just you have skills, and i think, you can really do better, the story like you said is a classic, an old one, but it's too simple... Far too simple. And finally, everyone know this type of dilemna. Its just for all the work done technically, i was hoping something bigger in the script.

It's not my video, nor do I even know the author.

As for your complaints, he is an animator, he was showcasing his animation skills.

Writing, sound effects, music, voice acting, etc, are all separate jobs, done by separate people(in most cases), even 3d models can be made by a different person than the one who animated it.

Btw, the author clearly stated it was a college project, for an animation based course, hence the focus on animation, rather than story.
