The rhythm section's (too busy) arrangement lacks the ominous power of the original Creedence-this is almost like a speed metal version. Not that I'm complaining, that Fogerty is still around and at the top of his game is astounding.

Can't wait to see the Beacon Theater show in NYC in 2 weeks. He's playing the Green River album in its entirety.

The swampy groove is what got me first, and that was provided by Cosmo & Cook. Except for Fogerty singing these songs, it sounds like a wedding band trying to do Creedence.

And to agree with DemonChorro, John wrote this during the VietNam era and did it with Creedence.
