Run forward, let him throw his forcefields, then back off using burrow, replenish lost roaches asap. Try to snipe colossi if he isn't careful. He won't be able to do this a lot of times. It all comes down to good micro and macro mechanics.

So get 2 Corrupters at the price of 200/200 for your spire at 150/100 each IN TIME and you'll be fine. Especially since speed-Roaches are pretty darn good against everything coming out of warpgates.

@NickBigsmoke Sure it takes some time for 2 corruptors to kill a single colossus. But if you got 2 for each colossi, it goes pretty quickly. IE if you got 8 corruptors vs. 4 colossi, you can kill one every two shoots of your corruptors if you use corruption. That's really quick. Burrow under forcefields and you should be fine. He can't forcefield forever to keep your roaches at bay. Roaches are pretty cheap, tough and have great dps for their 75/25 cost!

If you're good at both and still have trouble, THEN you may complain about balance. Because until then, it's not a balance issue - it's a skill issue. And if you improve, that stuff will sort out.

You have to be rock solid on your injections and have good scouting to determine if you can drone up or need units. If you want to master zerg, you need to withstand frustration, because it just punishes mistakes a lot harder than protoss or especially terran does.

Zerg are op they always expand fast and can also attack while in expansion, Idras play i could simulate easily(this game not others) but Huks play it would me take me months to micro like that beast. Also is that the only way to win in this game. Good thing i SOLD it i would beat diamonds 1 out of 3 times making carriers and void rays, But when i went the classic build stalkers and colossus i started winning 4 out of 5.
