  • human nature is faith. faith the chair will hold you, faith that you wont get in a crash. why if you know you will get in a crash, why would you go for a drive??? faith. its not logic you wont get in a crash, its faith. wether it be in yourself and your driving ability, or God, or your car, or your lucky 8 ball, everything in life is faith based!!

  • @SolidEliteForce Of course it is not faith. Car crashes aren't that common, there is much higher probability that you won't crash!:) You don't need faith for that.

  • I do consider myself a very rational, strong-willed, open-minded person. What do you think of a man defacing a church? Or a principle yelling at a Christian, forcing her into tears because of a bible she brought with her? It's not black and white as you say. There are crazy Christians and Atheists. Neither of us are proud of those people.

Good and bad things come from Christianity or rather, people that are part of it. Just like Atheists. It's just not as clear-cut as you stated it was.

  • so do you celebrate Christmas? how does that work, I'm just curious because Im not an athiest.........

  • @scaryfunhouse i do celebrate christmas in a secular way. if you didnt already know, christmas has become a secular holiday with the proliferation of santa throughout our culture..

  • Hey D3ECONX,

The argument from risk is old hat and obviously flawed. Sure, most people would rather go to heaven than hell, but what evidence do you have that shows you won't go to "hell" because you are a Christian? What I mean is that many religions have prescriptions against non-belief, Islam to name one, and who is to say that you're following the right rules? Your upbringing is more than likely why you've chosen Christianity as the "correct" doctrine.

  • @dustinsandwich couldnt have said it better myself lol

  • Nothing good comes from being a Christian? How so? I believe in heaven and hell and am on my way to heaven. What about you? After death you have no clue what going to happen. I'd rather be a Christian heading for heaven than being an Atheist and end up in hell. Just my thoughts...
