  • America is the hero in WW II they liberated asia and europe

  • @piterk1945

Bullshit. The soviet union did most of the work by themselves and America was helped by Britain, France, Australia, India and Canada everywhere else.

  • @TheGreatestHater666 No, not really. Russians gave more blood but the U.S. took on Italy, Germany, and Japan simultaneously. All of the countries listed aside from Great Britain did very, very little.

  • OMG OMG IVE BEEN DERE! I ALMOST SLIPPED! TWICE!

  • Hirohito should burn in hell for all those lives lost...it's his responsibility no matter what anyone says... no Mickey Mouse watch is gonna make me beleive he was innocent of the actions done by Japan in this war.... coward.... Pig...

  • @xCaptxCrunchx

stupid american, emperor is just Japanese symbol person.

he does not have military orders.

why you guys are keep bashing only Emperor?

were you sleeping in history class?

  • It would not surprise me if these cliffs and all the other pacific island battlefields like Iwo or Peleliu have paranormal activity. It's possible that all that carnage, death, and the grim reality of war has left a permanent scar on the land. Anything is possible in my opinion.

  • I went there in 2001 & 2002. I remember these cliffs. Just saw "World War 2 In HD" on the History Channel and it made me Google this.

  • I want to visit saipan one day...

  • I'm from Saipan & still living in Saipan. I'm a local.

I'm half Chamorro & half filipina.

& yeah, this suicide cliff has tons of ghosts there. ESPECIALLY the kalabera cave.

  • have you seen the ghost? i never!

  • I would love to interview some of those ghosts and ask them why they were so stupid.

  • not just the Japanese soldiers, civilians as well.

i lived there until 3 years ago, suicide and bonzai cliff are definately haunted. at night anyways.

there are more places on saipan that are haunting though.

  • hi people I have been to sipan and its a beutial place just like he said but there is more to it there is bird island and bonzi cliff and suicide cliff like once again you said

  • hmm...could i perhaps use this in a project i'm doing on the cliffs? probably not..that's be kinda weird...but w/e its due tomorrow anyways so the question is probably moot

  • hey im from saipan a local! haha chamorro! yes there is alot of ghosts there they are called taotaomona...if you disrespect them they will pinch, slap, bite, or punch you. If they do..its either you get sick or die lol it still happens in the island of saipan..so becareful!

  • haha yeah.. tons of ghosts stories i've heard.. like whenever i'd go back there for christmas beak or summer vacation.. all of us [my brothers and all my other cousins and i] would sneak into the capitol hill korean church and we'd sit and tell crazy ass stories in there..

    i miss saipan ='[[[

  • see i went to siapan and there is alot more to it... one its not haunted i went to both suicide cliff and bonzai cliff and they only jumped because they thought we would hurt them... if it was haunted i wouldnt be alive i climbed over the fence to the ledge and took a picture and if it was they would have pushed me that proves it and the people that jumped off wouldnt be alive no matter what ok that is the worst thing to jump off and the branches arent long enough to far in

  • so i belive non of your stories

  • thats a looooong way down

  • am wondering if a Holy Shinto Shrine was ever erected at that locale, to bring peace at that locale? any response is appreciated. if not, how can this be done?

  • There are in fact several shrines at the base of the cliff.

  • You mentioned Japanese combatants who jumped over the cliff. Many, if not most, of those who jumped were civilians. I met one who was a boy of 12 years at the time. His whole family of 7 jumped and perished, he was saved by a tree limb that snagged his shirt. He cried the who time he told me the story. He was in his 70's at the time.

  • ok the branches are not that far out and if they were your speed is to fast for the branch to catch you commen sense

  • Trees are like Humans they come and go. Go to wiki and look up parachutist survival. You don't know what you're talking about.

  • ok for real i do know. i have a dad who knows alot more then you would. so dont go there. ive been there. i would know ok.

  • So what do you know that we don't sherlock?

  • a lot of fucking ghost over there!!!!!!!!!!!

  • So I've heard!!!
