it has midi and tape out/in.

I´ve done some recordnings with it before, syncin´ my TASCAM 38 with my computer.

sehr geil, wusste gar nicht das der SH-101 einen internen sequencer hat. Habe ihn paar mal im Studio benutzt (das war der graue) aber habe nix gesehen. das unterscheidet eben den meister vom lehrling. profi-sound!

I used to own pristine examples of these 3 Roland wonders and very, very foolishfly sold them for a high profit back when the rave boom exploded. This fine piece of music has made me feel like I have met a loved one whom I thought I'd lost (albeit temporal).

With the tr-808 and the tr-909 you can choose the lenth of the pattern. (With the 808, 64 maximum pattern length i think?)

Can you also do this with the tr-606?

my favorite is the TR-808 but I like the more electronic sound of the TR-606. Also nice: CR-8000, Drumtracks, Linndrum ...

Yeah, but it seems like the TR-808 and TR-606 have pretty much the same sounds with different interfaces. Is there really a difference?

Also, have you ever tried circuit bending any of your gear?

The sound of of the 808 and 606 is analogue but different. The 808 is more warm and smooth and the bass-drum has much more power but I like my little silver box 606. Both TR´s are great.
