they are definately not slow, in comparison i'd say it was the same as my old mans zx9r c1 easy, and smoother which makes it better in my eyes, mine will about do 160 ish mph and what you have to remember with these, is they still hold the 24 hr endurance record at 24hrs with a speed of minimum of 152mph and a max of 165mph thats 24hrs at 150+ thats engineering for you and bloody good engineering too, it's because it has the gsxr1100 bottomn end and the head but sleaved down to a 900 = bullet
Beautiful bikes! Both the '95 colors and the classic SUZUKI GSX-R racing colors!! I owned a '96RF900R - prp/yel. She was a dream to ride. Smooth, comfortable, and fast! She was a bit of a hefty machine; roughly 500lbs. Still, I loved it something awful. I need to get me another one.
@PatrickMichael2002 That's got to do with the 90's style plastics. They were really fast for their time and they still are decently fast today. I've got the rf600r with 100 HP which is good enough for me ;)
They're not. The engine in these bikes was very good for the time. They were in the sport touring category, so they are a bit porky by today's SS standards, but they did, and still haul ass.
