  • did u see this is Goldeneye? :P

  • lol looks like a smile :P

  • Man parents should be ashamed of them selves look at the kids they raised almost everyone on here sounds like they have nothing more than a 2nd grade education

  • Actually building silencers is not a federal offense if you do the right paperwork and pay the atf money.

  • @tehbbqlolz Why not ask the ATF how much money they want for you to have permission to build a silencer? Let me know what they say please! Good luck!

  • @ToiletFinger

That info is easy to find. It's a $200 tax stamp and a long waiting period due to awesome government efficiency, lol

  • Building a silencer is a federal offense.

  • @ToiletFinger it's not if you get like a special permit ive heard getting a silencer permit has less paperwork than buying a gun

  • @1991jarhead

I cannot imagine who you heard that from. If you've got a link to or a picture of anything called a "silencer permit" I'd love to see it.

  • @ToiletFinger i was told that by a cop and on a gun show you little smart ass piece of shit

  • @1991jarhead

Woah! Calm down baby. I still love you, I am just asking. Yikes!

  • @HPIracing111 Yeah you're an idiot.

If you make it yourself you have to pay 200 and get an approved form 1 if you buy it its ATF form 4 xfer through your "class3" dealer (SOT FFL) and 200 bucks. waiting on a form either way.

  • @HPIracing111 only ex-military? lol. Anyone with the time, money, and clean record can, get your facts straight.

  • @HPIracing111 It's not a license, it's a tax stamp. And you can get one as long as you don't have any felonies on record.

  • @HPIracing111

jarhead, you're an idiot. Quit spewing false information

  • @HPIracing111 Class 3 license? Ex-military? What Elmer Fudd looking fool behind a gunstore counter told you these lies?

  • I was talking to a special forces guy who was in vietnam, he told me about some guys of his who were using a scilenced .22 with subsonic ammo. They were hiding in the bushes and were shooting at a vc soldier with it and were far enough away that the bullets were bouncing off of his chest. He started to swat his chest thinking that bees were all over him. True story as funny as it sounds I kid you not.

  • Dynapoint .22 long ammo moves at 1050 fps and under most conditions won't crack the sound barrier. I tape a small shampoo bottle to the end of the barrel (find one that fits kinda snug). Once you shoot a few rounds through the bottle it opens a hole. Simply enlarge the hole with a drill bit. Very quiet....not as quiet as my friends licensed factory suppressor, but close enough to save the $500 expense. Accuracy is off a little, but it is still fun to shoot quietly.

  • also highly illegal and could possibly land you in jail for 10 years with a 100k fine.

  • Oh yeah, forgot to include "check your local laws, as they may differ from country to country".

  • @FallenPhoenix87 federal offense means illegal. hahah

  • Hate to break it to you but a .22 Long Rifle going 1250 feet per second will penetrate 2 phone books. THAT will NOT bounce off of a skull so if you are dumb enough to try that, Good Luck!

  • noob recording from ur t.v.

  • not even has money or can understand technology you little brat

  • that shit got more smoke than 420

  • Jesus, shut the fuck up.

  • I was using Jesus mendozas name in vain, a guy I work with. Now shut the fuck up, you goddamned insolent son of a bitch.

  • god? lol.

  • @2weirdkidz There will be a day, soon, when in one way or another, you will regret such a comment. I don't expect you to care now or believe anything I say. However, that does not alter reality.

  • @skooteroo

Dude come on gods fake. If you look at it from a perfectly even, non biased point of view and just think for a few minutes, its obvious. I will NOT regret this comment. I'm not here to change your mind, you can keep believing if it makes you happy. But not having a religion is sooo much funner than having one.

  • @2weirdkidz how is god fake think about it everything has a creator so that only leads to god being real don't say he's fake just because you fear a higher power

  • @skunkapotamus what he said

  • 30-40 meters my ass.. more like 15 feet

  • if u shoot close range with a .22 it is a very deadly headsot because it penetrates front of skull and bounces around brain

  • That's a myth.

  • no its not although it doesnt really bounce around, it is almost always fatal to be shot in the head even with a 177 simply becuase you are pushing a lead ball through your skull;

  • Thank you for telling these idiots the truth.

  • i killed a deer with my .177 pellet gun w/ lead pellets. it was a gamo

  • @julsmul liar liar pants on fire

  • Yeah, pretty much that what my cumshot does in your moms mouth. Bounces around until she dies.

  • r u a racist bastard, by chance?

  • Comment removed

  • I agree with Rockbo.. i understand what your saying man.. too bad they are too stupid to realize you wern't be racist.

  • @ROCKBO dont be racist, you racist fuck hole. i dont care if you are african american. that sort of language is unacceptable

  • you talk like a black

  • columbian druglord.

  • to clear everything up, one could easily kill a small animal with a .22, even humans. the infamous man known as ED GEIN killed a woman with a .22 caliber using SHORT ammunition so that it would be quieter

  • Just because something is quiet, doesn't make it less lethal.

  • Thats not at all what he was saying. The Mark II is a .22 LONG. He was pointing out that if a slightly shorter round with less powder can kill, of course the .22 Long can.

  • nice grouping!

  • that is like 10-13 meters away

  • I own one of these. It's called the "Amphibian 2" and it's made by AWC suppresor systems. You don't need any special license to buy it. Some states prohibit suppresors but they are legal in most jurisdictions. You need to go to a Class 3 dealer. They will give you the application packet. It took me about 6 months of waiting but I got it. There is a $200 transfer tax but otherwise, it's no different than buying a regular pistol. The gun cost $1100 10 yrs ago. It's the ultimate cat killer!

  • it still to loud to kill a cat.and firing a gun around your garden to kill a while she is dumping a load sounds dangerous.take a sling shot and hit her in the stomach.she will die somewhere else and you don´t need to dump her body in the trash

  • This thing is quiet. If you fired it under the table at a crowded bar,no one would hear it. It works best with full powered CCI mini mag ammo. You have to used copper jacketed rounds because lead can foul the suppresor. There are several suppresed guns built on the Ruger frame. If you are thinking about buying one I highly suggest you go with the AWC design. My friend bought a cheaper model called "Red Dog". It's not nearly as quiet or reliable as the Amphibian.

  • The Amphibian series has been around for quite awhile, & I heard many good things about all of the models, but I never messed with one myself. The barrel is supposedly under 2", so I'm curious: using the CCI ammo, shooting offhand/standing, what kind of accuracy can you typically get? Also, I think the whole unit is stainless...but how to you clean it, since it doesn't come apart? My final & MOST important question! Do they give you a UDT/SEAL "Freddie The Frogman" patch with it?

  • you sick piece of shit, im a devout gun rights suporter but statments like yours about killing peoples pets make me think maybe there should be a psychological test befor one is allowed to have the right.

id love to give any cat killer a 3 1/2" turkey load in the chest.

  • hey pow!

killing peoples cat who DUMP their shit on my property should be allowed.

so if you are not able to keep you animal where it belongs - on your property - then deal with the konsequenz.

    but stop whining DUDE

  • That sling shot idea is very "Richard Marcinko"...I like it! but with that little .22 bullet, the cat will run away and die someplace else anyways.

  • well, i´m not an expert for "how powerful a gun is".but i think, a 22 will kill a cat without no doubt.besides this, i think it´s much easier to aim with a 22 than with a sling shot.

  • cats have 9 lives & they hate to die. Cats are related to tigers. To kill a cat in its tracks would take a very lucky shot if a 22 was used. the best gun to kill a cat is a nucular bomb.

  • DAMN!you must be american, right?

nuclear bomb?well, with one bomb i wouldn´t only kill a fucking stray cat, i would kill all cats in my whole country.

    back to topic.

NO, you don´t need a lucky shot.

just hit the biggest body part and she will bleed until she dies.but i consider not to make them suffer, so hit the head and if this does not work, HELL, then throw a nuclear bomb!

  • Fuck you.

  • If you shoot a cat in the brain, it will fall down & wiggle all over doing the "kickin' chicken" action which all dead animals do...its legs are running while its laying on its side. If you shoot ANY cat (even a tiger) in the body, it will jump STRAIGHT up in the air, hit the ground running, and it will hide itself until it dies. That's why big game hunters never go in the bush after a wounded jaguar. Trust me on this one, a cat is no joke...a 9mm should do the job.

  • You've gotta be fukin retarded to shoot a cat

  • Hey dude, you're German? My ancestors were German. I love Germany. I love red squirels. If the cats are eating your friendly squirels then Heckler & Koch GmbH makes some great stuff for cat removal. A USP 9 would be fine. Keep the stray cats away from eating Mr. Squirel!

  • Check out the video in my favories with the "suppressed pistol" its a USP 9. By the way, a 22 WILL TOTALLY destroy a squirel...but no decent guy would shoot a nice little squirel. Now I'm in the mood for butter cookies!

  • yes, i´m german!but germany isn´t like the us, here you can´t go to a gun store and get a gun like in texas or so.here you need to fill a lot of paper and tell the m why you need one.blablabla.yes, a stray should better stay away from squirrels and birds.they are my buisness and if a stray makes the wrong move, she will get a clear message.

  • AWESOME!! I wish I had the firearms license to own one! You can surpress the noise with many things pillow's potatos, pop bottle....Anything that will capture some of the gases before they escape into the atmosphere. Of corse these item's don't come close to the real thing with baffels and all that al you hear is the action on some! but they do make it quieter. That gun is great I have A regular Ruger Target one of the best .22's ever made!

  • I can tell you It's a real sweetheart to shoot.I own one also! Keep your powder dry!

  • camera in front of a tv? RCA jacks to complicated to handle?

  • that guy is in the mob

  • what is all that powder that is coming out of the mussle crown?

  • when the supressor supresses....it captures all the gas from the combustion of the bullets gunpowder propellent, Therefore lowering the sound of the gas escaping the barrel behind the bullet by encasing it in a higher volume setting and releasing it slower...Open a soda bottle slow and hear all the sound it makes....or open it fast as it makes the sound quickly....more volue...less sound

  • That is the phoenix right?

  • Actually, 'Hush puppy' is a silencer certain units in the US military use. Most often, it's applied to a Ruger Mk. II. It's just a .22 silencer.

  • That is Bad Ass!

  • HEY RON JEREMY NICE GUN

  • How much?

  • for what its made for, its a good gun, but i mean come on, it looks like a dildo!...

  • nice pistol, what ammo are you using? sure seems to be something hot with all the powder discharge, you may wanna try ammo with a velocity under 800 FPS even tho for your ap 1100 is fine. Cool Vid! props!

  • you recorded that off your tv right?

  • Of course, the reputation of the model B is legendary.

My information came from one of the many gun mags you see on a newsstand. The surety of the Mk23 makes it an obvious choice, as you point out. The model B made quite an impression on OSS/SOE/early CIA. The article I mentioned said OSS orders were penciled into the High Std Co. log, and CIA was left blank. Could be nothing but cloak and dagger lore. On the other hand, military often gets gear that is only for contingency.

  • i dont know but this weapon is realy ugly

  • That gun is actually quite handsome in real life.

  • I'm reading quite a few comments on here that look like they're from kids who don't know what they're talking about. Nobody caries a .22lr handgun for real combat. The only way to get a .22lr to bounce around in someone's head is to get it through their temple, eyes, or some other soft spot. I've been shot in the leg with a jacketed .22mag once, and it broke the skin, hit the bone, and came out on the side. The exit wound was much smaller, as it had lost most of it's energy.

  • The supressed High Standard Model B .22LR was a weapon issued by the OSS, then CIA. Just prior to the Iraq war, 145 of those original pieces were sent back to High Standard for new springs, finish, tune-up. Suppressed .22LR is a delightful choice as a prelude to assault: Killing guards and sentries at very close range with s t e a l t h. Back of the head between the spinal atlas and occipital ridge.

  • Where'd you ever hear that one? And if you'll notice in the movie, when he's taking carefully aimed shots, it's not a tight enough grouping for a kill like that, and they're going to have to be farther away from their target than he is there to avoid detection. It seems like they'd just as well use the Mk. 23 that the government has so many of.

  • They may have wanted a quieter solution than Mk23, in case they decided that was needed. I can't remember which Iraq war either. Had Mk23 been adopted in 1990? Will definitely get back to you if I can confirm any of this. Cheers :)

  • The British intelligence service lets its members use similar weapons too, they can be the quietest semis on the planeet! You can either buy the reciever with a permanent moderator, or a threaded bull barrel and a serperate supresor (not as likely, more expensive, less effective)

  • jtgparr actually maybe you should do research the CIA, FBI, and specialy the seals currently use MKIII Ruger .22. The U-2 pilot who was shot down over russia carried a MKIII Ruger

  • He carried a High Standard HDM. Ruger mk III came out in the 90s

  • I believe the MK III came out in ~2004 or 2005.

  • Only fletched ammunition will buzz around body a body cavity like a bee in a jar. That kind of ammunition is also very illegal.

  • no, 22 will do that in the skull

  • Yes it will thats what they do some will go threw but most dont have the penetrating power to do that.

  • m16a4a is right, seen it a few times in person bullet goes in then bounces around and turns the brain into scrambled eggs.

  • ...now why does that turn me on...

  • balance167, the only thing I know of that's fletched is arrows, and those are completely legal.

  • The best weapon for assassination, used by the mafia and easily obtainable. BTW it can be considered more dangerous then heavier caliber weapons because it penetrates once and jumbles around in the brain or w/e.

  • Morons... .22LR is for plinking and small game. Why would you take the chance of pissing off your target with a .22? That is why you never see any conceled carry pistols in .22. Do the Police carry a .22? Does the Military? FBI? CIA? Nope. There are 4 calibers for self defense. 9mm, .38/.357, .40 and the all time great, the .45 ACP!

  • Sure the round will drop a big ass criminal or some rag head in the sand box over seas, but ask yourself this Q if someone points a "22 LR " at my head and fires, will I get up? um nope. Its a gun and it kills ,to piss off someone with it you'd have to hit them from 100 plus yards " in the foot".

  • CIA does use a modern version of the High Standard HDM, and the Navy SEALs use the Ruger MK II, BUT, not as a carry piece, but for special purposes.

  • There not used for personal protection there are used for assinations. If someone is shot in the head with a .22 lr it will simply richocet on the walls of his skull.Leaving no chance of survival and know detection when supressed because it is completely quiet.

  • From what I've heard, the .22 is used in assassination and sometimes special forces have used it to take out guard dogs. They nicknamed it "hushpuppy".

  • Sorry, you've heard wrong. Maybe playing too many computer games. The hushpuppy was the S&W Model 39, and eventually 52, chambered in subsonic 9mm or .38 Special. However, since it's a rimmed cartridge designed for revolvers it wasn't practical or compact enough to catch on in other automatics.

  • That seems more likely. However, what I meant was that they nicknamed the gun they used hushpuppy. And lastly, I don't play computer games.

  • Did some research and found that your right. Thanks for pointing that out.

  • The Isreali special forces (Mossad) use silenced Ruger 22s. Famously, they were used to kill a guy named Bull who was working with arab states to build a super long range cannon that could have struck Isreal. The guy was a genious, but obviously a misguided one. And paid the price!

  • The .22LR cartridge is plenty lethal against humans when well-aimed.

  • then that is a gun for me because i am a pritty nice shot

  • What do you plan to use it for? Self-defense? I'd highly recommend against a .22LR. While it may work, there are much more suitable cartridges for self-defense, and I advise that you get one of those and practice regularly. Nobody's a "good shot" when adrenaline kicks in.

  • yea but i have pritty good nervs.

i am thinkking about joining the army and try a full auto

    ak5

  • Even so, still not a good idea to use a .22 -- my point about them being "plenty lethal" was more of a "they're not a toy", rather than "you can take down moose with them". You can rent full-autos at ranges in many states -- no need to join the army. Indeed, shooting was one of the things we did the least in the army. Mostly just BS other stuff.

  • yea i know that.

but in my country full autos are elegal.

and only policemen are aloud to have handguns on the streets

  • Ah, my apologies for presuming you were in the United States. I'm under the impression that silencers are generally unregulated and commonly available for citizens in Sweden, mostly for hunters and whatnot. I wish US law allowed them to be had so commonly.

  • A straw is lethal at close range when well aimed.

  • very nice.I have the same gun, very acurate.TONS of plinking fun!!!

  • That's the kind of weapon the mafia, CIA, or any professional killer would use at close range, albeit with a shorter barrel. It's gotta be a headshot, and in the motors. The motors is the southern term for cerebellum/medulla oblongata. It's fast and quiet. Shhhh!! Let's keep the noise down. LOL.

  • holy shit that is quiet

  • if you soak the supressor before hand you can reduce DB by about 6...

  • A little teflon on the slide and it will be even quieter.

  • Sweet gun.

  • Really cool vid.

  • I think that ruger makes strange looking .22's. They look little bit too... big like that when the outdiameter of the barrel is about two inches

  • After playing HITMAN and watching assassins when i were little lad - it's a bloody god job i can't get my hands on one of these! I think you'd have to go and assassinate someone! lol

  • I'm referring mostly to private citizens throughout the world. I read a statistic years ago that millions of people were killed with small caliber guns than any other weapon over a 100 year period.

  • More people have been killed with this kind of weapon and the .25, and the .32 caliber in the last eighty years than all the other guns combined.

  • actually i bet more people were killed in ww2 due to the 9mm or 30-06 than have ever been killed by a 22

  • In World War II yes, however in terms of all people killed by firearms in the World over a hundred year period, I believe the .32 caliber has that distinction.

  • seem familiar, hitman fans?

    ;)

  • Lol, Man it just sounds like your blowing through a pipe. Silenced rugers make me smile.
