I wish more people appreciated music. Then maybe my school wouldn't be removing band and choir, but they are. They could've cut Spanish, everyone would have prefered that, but no.

@musicgirl606 My school doesn't even have an orchestra, but we are playing this in my high school band. But the school board doesn't seem to think that even band is important, because next year there will be no band or choir ;(

the one we're playing is by michael sweeney, and it's faster. you guys sound pretty slow on the tempo. oh, one sec. i wanna check something on your video. nice entrance when you started, but you COULD be faster. i'm in a Jr. High band, and we practice that too. we're going to state competition next week. if we get an overall 1, we all get an A for class ^-^

last week I played at a festival and all three songs we got all 1's (all superior) Woodward academy Adv. Band. 2nd chair FRENCH HORN. hmmm violins need some work with bowing... BIG bowing issues. though still sounded nice albeit a little off at times love the song though playing for our orchestra

The beginning was kinda slow.The real song is much faster than that.We played something like it in marching band and it was pretty fast

I agree with you but one thing about marching band music is EVERY thing is faster then the original lol. I would know. I'm a majorette and I listen to my marching band play song's I've heard before too fast. lol

they need to stay with the conductor.. the orchestras timing and the conductors was off. it sounded good though.. i just wouldve liked more dynamics also.

In professional bands, the conductor conducts slightly before the note is played. Although not all of them do..It depends on the conductor really..

I think that any professional orchestra sounds better than peoples school bands. This is an amazing piece.

Personaly i think this went a little bit to slow, I like the version my school band does it where its a little bit more speed and power.

dont hate the orchestra they are only following the conductor which any GOOD orchestra should do so if u think they should do this or that take it up with the guy with te baton

on the second measure of the song, the countings were triplets but the orchestra didn't play it.

I THINK it's the second measure. I'm talkin about the measure with the brackets ontop of them and it has a 3 in the middle of it. Those are played at triplets.

Yeah. I'm playing this in band, those are triplets and I have the triplet part (clarinet) and they didn't play triplets...

the performance is reasonable. but i'm pretty disappointed. there's basically no response from the players. and seeing that they're a bit older, i would expect a bit more seasoned expression and execution.
