  • A sharpie can help mark a wheel. It will scrub off the brake tracks so it's not a big deal how many marks you make.

  • good job

  • Same truing stand as mine. Is it Velomann?

  • Great video. To the point and excellent quality. Beats the guy outside near a freeway/motorway.

    +1

  • @KuleRucket LOL hell yes!!

  • Very informative video! This is what I needed to know for using the Spin Doctor truing stand that I just ordered. Thank you!

  • YOU CAN ALSO USE BRAKE PADS OR ZIPTIES AS A REFERENCE

  • is that the spin doctor truing stand?

  • can you use a screw driver on the screws on the rim? some previous guy that i baught the rim off stripped the spoke nipples so its impossible to use a spoke wrench

  • @originalMOON3R Yes you can do that, btw sorry for the delay in answering your question, I needed to update some account settings.

  • Hey good win for Holland today!

  • where can i get those tools?

  • you might want to adjust the hub bearings to help prevent hub play, also right and left should be refered to as drive side or non drive side (if a rear wheel)

  • same here i adjust mine also on the bike, still using v-brake system , i used that as reference :)

    Nice video ! Thanks!

  • i was thinking to throw my rear wheel away, but someday i need to learn how to fix a rim, thx for the video, very pro, gonna try it tomorrow :)

  • Thank for this. I've just sorted out a wobbly wheel. The wheel was on the bike and I used the end of cable ties as the pointer against the rim. The white paper was a good tip.

  • Great video!!! Professional!!

  • truest video I've seen to date, thanks a million.

  • i just built my first wheel but instead of the rim going side to side like in this video, it goes up and down. do i need to loosen the whole of one side slightly and tighten the whole of the other slightly?

  • @martin04409 If the wheel dips down you're gonna nead to loosen both sides.

  • much clearer than others I've seen, very helpful, thanx!!

  • super helpful that 3 minutes video explained more than the 4 15 minutes videos i just watched.

  • Very helpfull, I'm a goo try it :)

  • great video very helpful

but whats the best thing to use if you dont have a stand to sit the wheel on?

  • your own bike, you can use the brake arms, if you have V-brakes

  • Very helpful!
