can you use a screw driver on the screws on the rim? some previous guy that i baught the rim off stripped the spoke nipples so its impossible to use a spoke wrench
you might want to adjust the hub bearings to help prevent hub play, also right and left should be refered to as drive side or non drive side (if a rear wheel)
Thank for this. I've just sorted out a wobbly wheel. The wheel was on the bike and I used the end of cable ties as the pointer against the rim. The white paper was a good tip.
i just built my first wheel but instead of the rim going side to side like in this video, it goes up and down. do i need to loosen the whole of one side slightly and tighten the whole of the other slightly?
A sharpie can help mark a wheel. It will scrub off the brake tracks so it's not a big deal how many marks you make.
