A cute, high-spirited game that involves climbing up to unimaginable heights while collecting vegetables... This kind of reminds me of Ice Climber, except it has boss fights and the enemies aren't nearly as annoying.

unbelievable, it has been ages ago, and it feels like yesterday, i still remeber the levels very well!!!

there are so many things u might think u forgot..but then..they come up all of a sudden! My Amiga is still fully working hooked up to a C1084s ;)

I don't get why some people insult the way mingo is playing... This is just a gameplay video to show how the game works, not a speedrun or something! If you wan't to act as great pro do it somewhere else! Over the raymbow maybe!

By the way... I do love this game! But I can pass the robot island, since the game doesn't let me use continues from there! Dunno why! O_O

I loved this game, but it was something wrong with ours so it always chrashed when you got to... fifth world or something.

... The one playing this kinda sucks though, why the hell is he/she so obsessed with killing the enemies by HITTING them with rainbows when having them trapped, when you can just jump on the rainbow and 'crush' them?o_0

... It gets on my nerves x''D

Haha I thought exactly the same...I was a real nerd with this game :D Or you just have to touch the right corner, then run to the left corner, stay there and relax while you kill the freaking spider as he cannot touch you!

OMG...so annoying just watching this...whoever is playing just isn't doing it right...you aren't collecting the rainbow coloured diamonds!! I Loved this game and actually spent a whole day after many years...and completed it!!! I wanjt it again...anyone think you can still get it PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!

this player doesnt know that you can defeat monsters by dropping a rainbow on them. I know this cause of how he tries to hit that thing at 2:42. (he does this on several parts on the video).

The best conversion of Rainbow Islands and playing it I knew I made the right choice of machine. It played slightly faster with the upgrade in the back of the machine (450 bucks for it but it improved everything esp. loading times)

used to think this was arcade perfect, but looking at it now, the screen is condensed, but that doesnt matter much, cos the game play is intact at least, and this might upset some amiga freaks, but the st version plays better. Yes ive played them both in thee prime.

Cool game - I loved it! Don´t u know the Diamond-Trick? If u catch the enemys with a rainbow and jump on the rainbow they will turn to diamonds. And if you try this trick at the far most left side up to the most right side of the screen you can collect the diamonds in proper colour order and there will be a bonus feature at the end of a level (after the boss) that you can keep all time. If u do it properly in ALL levels, there will be an alternate end of the game!
