oh, and by the way, most critics are bullshit anyway. look at fuckin' Joel Siegel. a lot of people seem to hate his reviews because they're so generic and un-interesting, yet he's a famous critic. he hated clerks 2, and walked out during the screening when he was payed to watch it, and it got an 8 minute standing ovation at the end.

ok all i use the term "random assholes" interchangeably with "random people", i realize taste in movies is subjective but there are people who get payed for their opinions and most of them liked the movie. and clerks 2 was ok, but kevin smith could have done better

YOU think Clerks 2 was ok, yet there was a theater full of OTHER PEOPLE at Cannes and Sundance film festivals that gave it long-ass standing ovations after the screenings. so ultimately, my point was that just because I don't like Eraserhead, doesn't mean my taste in movies sucks. theres no way of saying one person has better taste in movies than another person.

and like i've already said, just because critics get paid for their opinions doesn't mean they're right. again, Joel Siegel. his reviews are widely accepted as pointless because they're so undetailed and never really even get into why he likes or dislikes a movie.
