  • Guess everyone has their preferences... Im a Porsche guy, my dads a Corvette stingray guy, grandpa a cobra guy, uncle Ferrari guy, mom a toyota girl. Our cars are what define us, I love the Porsche handling though such much more safety.

  • What Porsche's do you own?

  • Ok, i know everyone is going to hate me for this, but uh... im not much of a porche guy... i dunno if jdm, a.k.a. Tr***s, knows yet.

  • You friends with him? Travis is not fond of Porsches either...

  • Nice porsche!!!i love it!Is it for sale?lol

  • Nice Porsche!

  • Thank you!

  • Every time after I watch my one video, I have to watch this, you did a good job on it, also I like how you showed the engine.

  • Thank you... Poor Hanzi (The RUF) will live... It;s sittingi n the garage next to my bedroom now where I can see it... Pulls really hard to the left...

  • LOL, wish I could see a Porsche from my roo, well I could just look on my wall LOL.

  • I can look on the wall as well... Porsche "rennwagen from zuffenhausen" poster, Boxster RS60, 2008 RS Spyder, RUF Yellowbird, and two mini-posters of the actual Panamera Porsche sent my grandpa a month ago (he hoarded them, had he given them to me I would have broken the cover. :(

  • is it yours?

  • My dads... My grandpa owns a 996 GT3...

  • So, Porsche is in the family blood! cool i drive Porsche's a lot (in my dreams only) lol

  • The first 30 seconds reminded me of my '69 912of 15 years ago,the first model with the long wheelbase chassis.I had redone the original white paint and had wheels (8"front,9"back,I think) similar to these. After the view swings to the front bumper, however, the similarities stop.RUF was the hot tuner even before it became a manufacturer and this car is an excellent example....it appears to be original and clean with almost antique status!

  • This car actually conceals several secrets. Mainly it's been rear ended several times. It also needs it's wiring harness replaced. Over the past ten years we had to throw 20k at it to restore it to the status it is. Originally this car was destined to be a club racer in europe but the owner never picked it up...so my grandpa did.

  • ...so was it originally built as a US or a European model?

  • European, Carelli international had to modify it for u.s. standards.

  • That's cool. In spite of any prior modifications and/or rear collision damage, it's a spotless example of a classic.

  • Love the rear decklid and the license plate. My dad wants to get one that says "1MEENGT" LOL

  • I can deffinetley see the similaritys in the two videos. And this is one of the best RUF videos. 5* and in my favorites!!(the top row)

  • Thank you! Now we have to record some more driving.

  • Wow, I love this car.. it's classic, yet the RUF tuning makes it more modern. I'm sure it's a very fun car. Good luck with it!

  • Wow!!! That sounds nice. Great job. Best vid on youtube, but when you get a new camera, redo the video. And on a sunny day, how much torque does that have, and do you stick to the seat??? LOL

  • My grandpa owns a 996 GT3 and is positive that this car can out run him in a 0-30.

  • So yes it has torque. The camera is a sony cybershot 8.1 but I had to compress ot to 3o mb form the original fullly quality of 93. Thank you for the compliments your ruf video should be done today. Yes I my head thrust back pretty hard. I know dad didn't go full throttle. And the idle in the video sounds tin-canny so imagine with a richer growling noise. I know it sounds like we're running the car very lean. It's getting carbs and some new headers and other little tidbits soon.
