Lush Review:Squeaky Green Solid Shampoo Bar

I didn't like this. It was my first solid shampoo and last.. it left my hair still looking extremely oily. I have to wash my hair everyday (unfortunately)... and the little chunks caught on my hair, I didn't think of rubbing it in my hands. The smell reminds me of cologne and dr pepper lol

the cleaning agent in this product and the cleaning agent in the cheapest bottled shampoos are the same. it's SLS aka floor cleaner. good, i guess, ingredients otherwise.

I use Lush solid shampoos, and I put a bit of cheesecloth in the tin at the bottom, then after I use the bar, I bring it back and dry it out on each side on another bit of cheesecloth on my table. It sounds annoying, but I just bring it out of the shower with me and leave the cloth on my table. Stays dry and doesn't get goopy or stuck!

Yup these are safe to go on planes! i travel with my shampoo bar all the time! and for camping, i think a couple of their shampoos are nature-safe..like you can wash your hair in lakes/rivers and stuff..but you'd have to ask. :)

hey, nice review!! But i heard that when you make your hair wet, dry your hands, and massage the bar over your hair the bar will last longer. Just a tip :-) Oh, and i have another tip: You also can store the bars in an empty fresh face mask jar. Anyways, nice video!!xxx

I have finally finished that bar! What annoyed me was the rosemary and other chunks in it as well. They would clog up the hair drainer. It worked well though. I'm using Soak and Float now.

Just so you know hon, this is not natural. Far from it. Also, the lather that you get is from one of the worst ingredients in it. (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) Shampoos like this are an awesome idea but there are many companies that actually sell truly natural shampoos that are much better than the lush ones. Just my two cents! Xoxox!

I hated this shampoo bar so much. The smell I wasn't crazy about to start, but I gave it a try anyways. I have really oily hair, and it seemed to nothing to help it. I also have really long, quite wavy and semi-demaged hair, and the bits would get caught in it, which drove me nuts. I also found it flaked in my scalp too, not too badly though. Mine melted in the tin, because I didn't know to dry it out first, or how I could do it properly, but I guess that's my own fault.

How do you store it in the shower? It looks like the tin would be hard to open while wet and if not in the tin it would just melt away in the water.
