my 93 119,000mi firebird formula LT1( k&n intake, 160 thermostat,empty cats) has yet to lose to any stock Cal-srt4. i'm 53 and keep my car running like the day i picked it up 17 yrs ago, runs consitant 13.7- 13.8 always ! still have never put headres on car and have factory 2.73 gears. everybody always getting on me about how much more i could get with headers, 3.73 gears and a better torque converter, but happy with it for past 17 yrs like it is.
I agree, my shifts were slow and its somethin i'm workin on. this car is all about the driver, if you have a good driver then you have a pritty fast stock car.
definitely an LS1, I have yet to lose to an LT1 fbody by a long shot. The LS1 block is the only engine i have a hard time beating. Porscheowner could not have put it any better, The CSRT4 is all about the driver... Cant wait till my Mopar S1!
Let me know how the Mopar stage 1 changes things for ya. I hear it's fantastic. I thought about getting a CSRT4 then I test drove it and for some reason I just didn't like it. I mean it was a bit large to really feel like a "tuner car" and the torque steer was aweful but other than that it was great but it just didn't feel right to me for some reason. The power was tremendous up top but I just didn't like that it felt like I was driving a truck.

Impressive by the CSRT4. Was that an LS1 or LT1 Camaro? Kinda dark to tell.

i believe it's a LS1. i just got my Mopar stage one kit today so were gonna have a rematch sometime this week. i should be interesting
