@nismoskys the revs dropped far too quickly down to 750~ rpms for it to be a cold start.. i would sure hope someone with an NSX wouldn't cold rev it.. but i have seen worse on youtube haha
For just how long SHOULD I have kept the NSX? Forever? I owned it for ELEVEN YEARS! I'd say that's long enough. It was a fantastic car. But I wanted something new - something different. And the 300C SRT8 is certainly different. But it's ALSO a great car. No problems at all and it's amazingly powerful. Craig!! :o)
eleven years! wow incredible, well cause I may not get the chance to have one (pricetag even used) I envy you but for that exploit shit man you got my respect, and I agree on the point the 300 IS different... not everyone likes it (like Chris Bangle bimmer work) but its different, and again its a canadian built car (I think) so no wonder why a canadian driver would prefer it to other cars...
(well I would had kept the NSX as long as it worked (improving it in the process because nothing to void in tuning) but then again its because I'll never get the chance (maybe but I can't see it right now :p)
Yes - I still have the LS. It's an amazing car. It just keeps going and going and going. No matter what someone thinks of Lexus[es] - they can't accuse them of being unreliable. Craig!! :o)
Your comment is as retarded as some ricers equally stupid comment along the lines of: Why can't the 1986 Cadillac have the same multivalve DOHC head design of a Prelude instead of an archaic 70 year old pushrod layout? The answer? Because that's just how it is. Accept both cars for what they are. If you're going to compare the chime from a piece of shit '80's GM product to the top of the line Honda offering, you really need to re-evaluate your lifes priorities.
what does the microwave beep mean? sounds kind of annoying...
ATRus747 8 months ago
@ATRus747 That's just the 'put your seatbelt on bub' beep!! It is/was quite annoying!! :o)
CanadaCraig 8 months ago
@ATRus747 it's the car's chime.

2jz best 6 :)
subaru222 2 years ago
sorry, best 6 cylinder built is the S54 (E46 M3) 8,250 redline, 333HP, 100 hp per liter, I mean come on, cant argue with that. But I really like NSX!
mrhemp3985 2 years ago 5
i think the best 6 cylinder is the 2jz. Handles up to 1000 hp on stock block (not sure about stock internals) and 2500 on aftermarket.

Uhm.. I actually dont like toyotas that much. Just saying that the 2jz engine is amazingly strong, and thats why I think its the best 6 banger.
Totenhosen17 2 years ago

Yep the best V6 ever made in my view honda really knows how to put together an engine my B16a redlines at 8,000 Rpm and can hold strong.
IntegraXSiR 3 years ago 2
The best 6 cilinder ever. Considering the age, 8000 rpm is insane. I need one of that in my life.

ls400ridin 3 years ago
Hi ls400ridin!! :o)
I hope you're OK.
YES!! In some ways - it is sad. But I love the car that replaced it. The 300C SRT8. And YES - I still have my LS.
Craig!! :o)

RLY, you exchanged that sexy for a heavyweight NO CHARM BOX... even the charger SRT is better (and I don't like it being four doors)
I really don't know what to say...

The NSX was completely stock. Absolutely nothing was done to it. Sadly - I don't own it anymore. :o(

Why can't this Acura have the same gentle chime heard in the 1986 Cadillac instead of a loud, annoying beep from a Honda?
Jac2Mac 4 years ago
I agree. It also has a horribly cheap sounding horn.

The newer Honda cars don't have the beep as loud. Sweet start-up noise. Anyways, can't wait for the new NSX.
