  • How can a man I've never met, sing a song from before I was born, describe how I feel about my girlfriend? Is this some kind of crazy magic?

  • @kevw73 You're a fucking moron. She's probably cheating on you too.

  • @chikwin ahh dont worry, one day you might lose your virginity.

  • @chikwin come on, play the game and reply, or do I have to wait until you have to actually lose your virginity. X

  • Perfect pitch always, dude has never missed a note live!! haha

  • Its a problem.. since james taylor i cant listen to anything else..

  • aw i thought this would be a beatles cover. but this is still great :D

  • @fguka Hi there. This song was on James Taylor's first album, recorded in London at Apple Studios in 1968. The story goes that George Harrison heard James' song and it inspired him to write 'Something' and even use the line, 'something in the way she moves'. Out of interest, James Taylor was the first artist that the Beatles signed to the Apple Label. He remains friends with McCartney to this day, and they have guested on each others albums over the years.

  • the one and only JT

  • Pure genius. So simple but so powerful. These new musicians could learn a lot from these guys.

  • I talked to him once in Houston-he's real accessable & nice. The Highlight of my life.

  • @julietade1 please, please dont tell me your life is not open to any more splender because of JT

  • I love this song waaaaay too much. I listened to this about 20 times today at work. Yep, Taylor is the man.

  • ~James Taylor is like a fine wine...he's only become better with age.

  • holy crap! no dislikes, oh yeah.

  • @mula1234321 If you dislike James Taylor chuck norris comes to your house and beats admiration of him into you.

  • I wouldn't give my right arm for that Olson. As a guitarist that would be self defeating, but I'd give quite a lot.

  • @Vegasbabee - totally! I only discovered JT recently (and I am not exactly young at 41!) I feel so cr*p that I hadn't listened to him before now...always been a big Carole King fan and happened to watch a Troubadour gig on the telly recently with both of them performing - amazing!!!

I can't get enough of JT now!

  • my heart cries in jealousy while my soul sits back and sheds a tear of pure joy. james taylor is the reason for my sanity.

  • 73 likes 0 dislikes :)

  • Always hypnotised by innocent purity of his voice, hard to say which is better. The voice or how he tunes that Olson guitar! I rather not choose and just enjoy...

  • Oh my!

  • His guitar playing on this is brilliant. We often forget how good a guitarist he is, only talking about the voice and song writing ability, but he can certainly play a mean tune and that ol' geetar.

  • Thanks James for the great songs throughout the years !

  • I listen and am amazed at just how much music one man can generate.....ONE MAN!! Six strings!! PURE GENIUS!!! Close your eyes.....listen.....wow!!!!!!

  • James was actually this good when he was 19 in NYC, at the Night Owl, he wrote and played a LOT of genius stuff before the age of 21!!!

  • just watched it 5 times in a row, and it got better every time....wow

  • Taylor and King. Two of the best songwriters of the last 50 years. Genius doesn't get much better than this.

Beautiful song. Beautiful calm feeling. The lyrics are perfect for how I feel about my lady love.

  • @JustTheGman - Don't forget Joni Mitchell - 20 plus years of great stuff

  • @jakeflip More my dads scene. Good but not really to my liking. If only the plastic popsters of today had the skills and longevity of these true stars.

  • fabulous!

  • :] love this song! It reminds me of when I was little and would dance to this song.

  • God Bless all your children James, especially your twins.

congrats on your Hall of Fame award. Your fan from 1970......always the finest acoustic in the world.....James Taylor//// Bless your mom and DAD.

  • The man is brilliant!

  • Oh God...this is what it's all about. Creativity, your name is James Taylor. Amazing how he does it right. He changes it up & can make it sound different, every time. It's all in the pickin'. Why it's finger lickin pickin good!

  • Awesome! Wake up kiddies-you don't get this good by playing "Guitar Hero" 24/7!

  • @Vegasbabee. He is the only guy singing with an acoustic guitar and nothing else for all songs. The rest of them, I want to do a John Belushi in "Animal House" after about two songs on acoustic. Lot of them are great ones but they don't seem to know who to put together lyrics and guitar like James does with the exception of Paul McCartney.

  • @Vegasbabee not yet, we have it with rock band 3 and the midi interfaces!!!!!
