The same tired old lines, simplistic in the extreme. I wonder if this silly man has even read the treaty, probably not. The Lisbon Treaty (if passed) will mean the end of nation states in Europe.
Vote no to this vile treaty.

Sorry will be voting no to lisbon !!! ireland was an economic basket case for most of its membership of the eu !the cetic tiger can be attributed to america, not to europe !!! i am afraid i have to agree with ms harney we have more in common with boston than berlin !!! when we vote no they will just come up with another trick , there is no democracy just an empire by stealth !!!!!!!

Yes take away our power over ireland yes slow down decision making for each country. Take away what it took 800 years to get . Vote yes for globalization our laws and culture HA who need them.

Minister O'Dea makes it sound as if we are voting on Europe itself, we are not. The EU has been good for Ireland but that does not mean this treaty will be.
Our excellent constitution is the only reason we are voting on this treaty, and if we vote yes our constitution will be superceeded by EU law. In effect we're being asked to nullify our own constitution.
If the European elites believed in true democracy they would let the rest of Europe vote too.
For this reason and others I'll vote no.
