WWE retains some real guys like HHH ou taker, but fired all the others (now on TNA for most). PG shit and old WWF are not the same thing.

@TheAntiroxas Actually, the "Monday Night Wars" was a generic term for the ratings of WCW Monday Nitro against the ratings of WWF Monday Night Raw. It went on for years and the talent didn't cross shows until Vince McMahon ended up purchasing WCW. When he bought WCW it was up to Sting if he wanted to join WWF because his contract was not transferable. Sting decided not to come over with his fellow WCWers so he has never been in the WWF.

@DrekRivers Oh really ? Any Video proof of this ? Of course not cause Sting was never in the WWE. In the beginning of the 90's he was way to busy with feuding with Flair, Luger, Rude and alike. And after that the whole NWO thing happend. There wasn't really any time for hm to perform in the WWF.

@KenFromHell I remember seeing him briefly on WWF Superstars when it used to be on Saturday mornings...it was around the time Flair came to the WWF and was the champion...it was also when Vince was trying to get all the WCW heavy hitters, like Arn Anderson, Dusty Rhodes, Legion of Doom, Rick Steamboat...he wasn't there long, i think it was a short term thing but again I reiterate I never knew what NWA or WCW but I remember Sting from his make-up on the show looking like Ultimate Warrior

@HybridRenoII actually he was. Late 80's he arrived around the same time Ric Flair, and Dusty Rhodes came to the WWF. He wasn't there long I remember because I had no idea what NWA/WCW was and I remember watching his entrance and thinking "This guy is like a flat-top rip off of the Ultimate Warrior"...and I also remember right after he stopped making appearances Luger and the Steiners came, as well as the Texas Tornado and Ricky Steamboat made a brief appearance

@HybridRenoII actually he was in the 80's, both him an Jim helwig aka Ultimate Warrior had a tryout and then they got sent down to Jerry Jarrett's promotion they tagged as the Blade Runners. Warrior got resigned to the WWF/E because he got over as the Dingo Warrior. Sting got signed by what became WCW.

@LinnieKing actually he started in the uwf, owned by bill watts, wrestled there and in the wccw, owned by fritz von erich, before exclusively wrestling for the nwa/crockett promotions before it became the wcw. sting has never once wrestled for vince in any fashion, not even a try out. he actually mentions that in his book and his self produced movie.

@LinnieKing ...and also, just for the record, the blade runners split up before helwig joined the wwe/f. he had a big run in the wccw and the uwf as the dingo warrior years before coming to the wwe. sting had already gone to the nwa, and was quite popular, so vince hired helwig as the dingo warrior and then turned him into the ultimate warrior cuz he DIDN"T get over as the dingo warrior to try to compete with the popularity of sting.

@JarrodDrover123 i'm not, i actually do my research you stupid fucking mark. its a fact that last year was the only time he couldnt leave the ring on his own. he officially retired the next day, and after a while it became apparent that he needed someone at home to take care of him so his wife requested to be released by wwe. now wwe convinced him to make 20-0 before he goes. if he planned to retire after 19, he wont make it to 25. that's another 5 years at the very least.
