Yikes! I think that jump from the boat would freak me out. I'm not sure I can swim 1.5 miles in water that cold. Then after that the bike course elevation looks crazy. Not sure a warm weather, flat course Florida girl like myself would do well in this race, but it looks awesome!

That swim was quite a rush last Sunday morning. Every time I took a breath to the right, I was looking at the Golden Gate Bridge. I stopped in the middle of the swim to look around.......Alcatraz behind me, Golden Gate Bridge on one side, the Bay Bridge on the other side, and San Fran in front of me. That was a very, very cool experience. Coming all the way from South Carolina to do that race was well worth the trip and expense.
