This is about as retarded as Wii bowling. Why the fuck would you do this shit which probably cost more than the real thing. Hey Wii bowling is the same too. $200 for system, $50 for game, $25 for accessories. Real bowling $3/game. LOL this planet is turning into lazy fuckers.
#1 - it doesn't cost more than the real thing (if it did why the hell would pro skydivers use tunnels for training?) one tandem skydive gets you less then a minute of freefall for one person for approx £200 - this way the whole family gets to enjoy 8 mins between them for £170
#2 - kids can't skydive, but they can tunnel fly
#3 - if you're scared of flying/heights/putting your life in the hands of someone else - you can still experience freefall without the risks.
Do you have to really arch your back a lot to up as Im quite tall and not got a bendy back really. Also do you get a choice to dive on your own or with an instructor?
The only controls that we learned as beginners were arching our back and bending legs, to present less surface area and come down, or straightening out, to present more surface area and go up. I do not think you would have a real problem. Also I think they vary the wind speed according to how heavy you are.
On your first go I think you have to have the instructor there. I certainly wanted the instructor close by! Also, they taught us two simple hand signals, for straighten or bend, and in the frenzy of the first moments I just stared stupidly at the hand signals wondering what he was on about. Eventually I calmed down enough to remember. A second trip would be great, because I'm sure I would pay more attention to the nuances of control.
Excellent video, I'm planning to take my family this year and showed them your flights, they are really excited. Was this the free DVD you get with the family package?
oh 34 each, lol thought it was 170 quid each. Thats not bad actually. Where in Milton-Keynes is this. My aunt lives there and I might ask her about it

Yes, the DVD was part of the family intro package I think. I edited it down and added the soundtrack.

OMG 170 quid for 2 mins, what a rip-off
willbaboon 4 years ago
For 5 people, so £34 each. Expensive, but cheaper than jumping out of a plane, or going to a play in London.
