Hey great vid but can you do one that shows the step by step guide of you acctually putting in the chip and programming it as i need to know how to do it or can you link me to another vid that does
My brother in law had one of these on his layout, back when most people had analogue DC and multiple train control usually meant Hornby Zero One. We powered it with 12V DC and used a DPDT switch to control it. The DCC module just allows easy remote operation with a minimum of wiring.
Ok, just out of curiosity, why is it this is more preferable to having a simple isolated switch/motor on the base which operates the turntable?

will it work with DCC or do i need to fit things like the point clips to make the thing live. please help
i am planing to run it by a non DCC controler but the rest of the track will be DDC.

is the smaller controller a select or a walkabout?
is it connected to the elight as an extra controller?
