I don't really think the video was that slow myself, I think it was more a matter of pacing. So maybe it seemed slow, but not to me. I think it's quite enjoyable myself. :)

the animation coulda been done better. such as the beginning when he (or she cant rlly tell) was walking. the feet were animated weirdly. and the whole story of it didnt really make sense. and was a bit too slow. perhaps you could have gone a bit different and been more creative to make it more appealing to the viewers and the song itself.

Now now chaps. Each are entitled to their own opinion - I would say to @puremage000 not sure why you keep commenting on a video you hate so much. Your opinion is appreciated but I think you also need to accept that other people have differing opinions. A lot of hard work was put into this by the creative team so whilst we can have different opinions I think we can also appreciate creativity even if its not to your taste. Constructive criticism doesn't really seem to help anyone!

i think this animation has some potential, but i really think it needs a LOT more work on timing and animation. one thing: don't make a movie fit the music. you can tailor it a LITTLE to the music, but just make the movie before you choose the music, otherwise, in this case specifically, it is slow and slightly boring and the same shots are used over and over. also, the color scheme was great but the boots REALLY shouldn't look like that when someone walks (pointed when flung back)

it's an extended metaphor. the fact that music score is an original composition means that it's not an actual story per se.

it's beautifully crafted with an excellent soundtrack. the animator deserves more credit.

and no, I am stauchly not an emo music fan. but I still think that it's good.

@vinceat852 I'm not retarded if the music alone wasn't enough to tell me this was going to be a sad animation putting melancholy in the title let me in on that. I get all the symbolism, mainly because it beats you over the head with it. taking out your baggage,cutting,etc the whole shebang. i was just adding a humorous twist to an otherwise depressing animation, these are the thoughts that went thought my head as I watched it and made me chuckle. i just interpreted it in my own way.

@vinceat852 Sorry to be long winded here but i feel i need to stress a point, i actually really enjoyed the animation, mind you the walking animation was a bit funky, but overall the tone and breadth of it was in my opinion good. the song was slow and thoughtful and thusly the animation was following suit. though, I feel almost like the animator was leading me by the hand saying "Do you get it yet? She is depressed, get it?"

Small nit picky things I'm sure, but hey, that's just my opinion.

Hmmm.... I have to say I really liked the style and the song payed a nice compliment to this. Paired with the song, the color scheme completely added that melancholy feel. The animation over all was a little too slow for me. It seemed like it was stretched out for the song (Idk if this was supposed to be a music video). Regardless, nice work.
