  • He cleverly asks Robin if he's comfortable

  • Why are all the henchmen and women complete idiots in this show?

  • @MilkMaidRum Its their job

  • On The Riddler's Spinning Wheel.

  • "King of Kundumdrums" Love that!

  • i just wish he wore the Riddles Suit more than he wore the leotard costume.

  • @daiklaive That suit is very dapper (he wore it in the movie). I wish I had one.

  • Damn is The Riddler one clever guy!

  • u know at the very end of the episode during the end credits? this was taped during the bat-chain reaction marathon. could u upload the end title where it talks about the bat-chain reaction? it goes like "Holy BAT-reaction!! The BAT-Chain Reaction...Continues next...On Sci-Fi! if u could upload it, it would mean alot. thanks

  • You people DO know that Jim Carrey based his performance on Frank Gorshin, right???

  • Come on you guys stop arguing.Frank Gorshin is amazing as the Riddler but Jim Carrey did a good job too.I think he is the only thing that makes Batman Forever watchable

  • Frank Gorshin is the definitive Riddler, man.

Without him, the Riddler wouldn't ever be the same.

He's what made the 1960's Batman series so fascinating to me. I wanted to be him when I watched the movie as a little tyke.

And I wanted the Penguin's umbrella. Yeah.

  • 1:10- Riddler freaks out is pure awesomeness ..."I hold court here, no one else!" hehe i love it!! Frank was great. You almost forget about the Batman silliness when Frank's Riddler gets pissed off.

  • You'd have thought Batman knew it was a trap when he overheard the Riddler say so-a lot.

  • the riddler is so cool! i cant help but laugh when he laughs.

  • "Would you like a piece of cheese?"

"Not without a good bottle of port you lackey!!!"

Poor King Boris...lol surrounded by all those dumb henchmen

  • I can't believe that Batman had an iMac. LOL.

  • Q: Why is a woman in love like a welder?

    A: They're both in heat.

    (o:Þ

  • @r0bw00d that riddle is insulting

  • Frank Gorshin was the best Bat-villain of all time.

  • @Jifffman besides catwoman

  • Yes, Catwoman was awesomely played by Julie Newmar ( I wasn't too big on Lee Meriwether. Eartha Kitt was o.k. Newmar was also Super HOT.) But Frank Gorshin had the evil personality and sinister laugh. And it was his portrayal that made the Riddler more of a major Batman villain. Before Gorshin, the Riddler only appeared in 2 issues of the comics.

  • actually ur rite! but catwoman was the best FEMALE villan

eartha kitt and julie newmar were both awesome!

  • If you listen to Kiefer Sutherland in 1998's DARK CITY, the vocal inflections of his character tend to resemble those of Gorshin in and around 2:50.

  • Riddler was always my fav villain, he was supposed to be in a few other but couldnt due to other commitments, thats why they had eps with Puzzler and a couple others that I forget

  • frank gorshin hands down the best riddler ever! jim carry ain't got nothing on him!

  • @dannamania I agree with you on that comment. At least Frank Gorshin's Riddler is more funnier than Jim Carrey's Schizo version in Batman Forever.

  • Gorshin is amazing at 2.47 as well. Such a egotist as all good villians should be

  • was so OBVIOUS Batman was freezing his ass off in that one scene, but Robin, who was wearing less, toke it like a man. Tells you something about their dedication levels.

  • Frank Gorshin is without a doubt ROYALTY in my book. The very best riddler in the whole batman franchise.

  • If it weren't for Frank Gorshin, the Riddler would have been forgotten in the Batman comic world.

  • I love Frank Gorshin....he was the best Batman villain.

  • Agreed. He wasn't in enough episodes though.

  • Will they ever release this series on DVD?

  • If they don't it'd be the worst crime in the world!!!!! Batman and Robin themselves wouldn't even begin to understand how big of a crime it would be!!

  • They probably will but I hear Will Dozier's daughter is suing on something related to the series. Once that is resolved, I am sure they will plan to release the series on DVD.

  • Gorshin steals the show even with episodes he's not in.

  • Riddle me this reviewers:

What does a dog do that a man steps into?

  • I wonder who would win in a Laughing Contest: Riddler or Joker?

  • I just Love is Laugh!

  • i love these series

  • Frank Gorshin rocks for his portrayal as the Riddler. He makes the Riddler as my favorite villian in the series.

  • Me, too.

  • The Riddler at his best, Batman and Robin got outriddled in this one. Batman always comes up with a solution, here they need a miracle, better watch the conclusion tomorrow same time same Bat channel

  • Batman and Robin sure walked into that one

  • Yea, strap them down good! LOL

  • Frank Gorshin's performence from 5:58 to 7:04 is incredible, particularly his laugh that starts at 7:01. He should have won an Emmy.

  • you are so right about an emmy, he was so incredible in this role

  • riddle me this!!!

what is weightless, can be seen with the naked eye, and when you put it in a barrel...it makes it lighter?

  • helium?

  • no

    i'll give you another try

then i'll give you the answer

(b.t.w. i don't think helium can be seen by the naked eye, can it?

if you then that was a good guess)

  • a hole

  • It's a HOLE.

  • @FanOfBats No, a hole.

  • A flame!

  • can I answer?

    a hole!

  • @reak7835 A hole

  • holes?

  • @reak7835 nothing?

  • @reak7835 a hole

  • @reak7835

    Light bulb?

  • @reak7835 A hole

  • @reak7835 a hole

  • @reak7835 the sea

  • @reak7835 A hole

  • @reak7835 It's a hole, a hole is weightless, it can be seen with the naked eye, and when you put a hole in a barrel, it makes it lighter.

  • @reak7835

    A hole?

  • Riddle me this:

When is a raven like a writer's desk?

  • i give up

  • @ImBatfan

You’ve been watching 'Alice in Wonder Land' hu? : )

  • Riddler's one Batman villain I wouldn't mind being kidnapped by/hanging out with (especially this one)...or the Joker.

  • I know a secret about all the wall climbs, they did it with a wall that was laying horizontal, but the camera was fixed to catch it like they were climbing up

  • YA DON'T SAY!

  • man, they walked right into that one

  • RIDDLER RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "40+ years later and Batman is still ahead of the curve!"

Yoda sez : Ahead of time Batman was !

Read a Batman comic from the late 50s or early 60s where Batman used a flashlight device that made shoe prints glow in the dark....a similar device is a reality in 2008 ;)

  • Scientist use Batman technology to form today's society - Fact!

  • But seriously, the answer of the riddle is: because they both carry TORCHES.

  • A woman in love is also like a welder, when she's freakin' HOT!!! Ha, ha, ha

  • oooh what fun...being at the Riddler's mercy

  • They know the Riddler's plot, so what do they do? What a clever idea to walk into the trap. I really don't know if I would have done it any other way.

  • a woman you love like a welder, because they can burn you sometimes!

  • Did this come out in 1966? If it did then that was 26 years before I was born. Wow, I don't even know how I got into Batman.. But I love it!

  • Hey, even Google Earth doesn't zoom in that close and give exact location and size.

40+ years later and Batman is still ahead of the curve!
