You obviously have no idea what you are talking about, Jenny. The album was recorded in 2001 but the record company they were on never released it. It's been available on the internet for years, way before 2007, and every true Metric fan already owned it and had heard it. Then their new record label (Last Gang Records) decided to finally release it and make a quick buck. So, it is in fact the first album that they ever recorded.
