I'm not from Hong Kong but please do not lose this battle. If everything is direct-elected, everything will be controlled. You can see what's happening in China. Yes cities like Beijing and Shanghai is prosperous but you do not see what these 2 cities shadowed the hundreds region in China that is suffering because of the impotent communist government that cannot even manage their other region filled with bribes and power abuse crippled the development and lead to resident suffering.

Participants should be allowed to change their survey answer whatever and whenever they like. 7/24 available secure computer in shopping malls suburbs transit stations libraries ... cellphone ... to show real time survey and index them close to second and let the world to learn from Hong Kong.

Universal suffrage elections and Democracy will come to Hongkong and China eventually, hopefully it is sooner than later.

When it come, people will find that it is not the "Magic Pill" that people think it is. But it is fair to say that it is still the best system there is. The challenge is to tailor it to suit the Chinese culture and its people.
