Ok, this strikes me as exceptionally well done, (except for the line or two to which I've objected in a previous comment). I guess I'll put it on my playlist after all. I wish Lucinda Bassett would watch it (and read "The Meaning of Anxiety,") to know that anxiety is also part of mental health.
Video: "What we must lose is...traditional values." RolloMay "the greater a person's awareness of himself, the more he can acquire the wisdom of his fathers to make it his." 178 "Nor is conscience to be thought of as divorced from tradition, as in the liberalistic period....Conscience, rather, is one's capacity to tap one's own deeper levels of insight, ethical sensitivity and awareness, in which tradition and immediate experience are not opposed ,.. but interrelated." @FireweedFarm To be fair, what I said was "What we must lose is our reliance on traditional values." As you point out, May is not suggesting that we reject them. It's just that we have to make them our own. We can't rely on someone else to decide what we believe.
@kentangen I agree with your point. I may disagree, however, on the context in which we find an American audience. There are people out there who know about humanistic psychology. Many, many millions more who "know" about humanistic psychology, but only through the distorted framework of fundamentalist reframers. They would have us believe that humanistic psychology dominates our culture, as seen in everything decadent, and caused it. You feed the misunderstanding most have of it.
Just fyi, your pronunciations are a little off at the beginning. Should sound more like: HI-deg-gar and Bins-VONG-er : )

@direwolf00 I offer no guarantee on pronunciation. But I am surprised they are only a little off. :)
