Here , in Chile ( especially the south of Chile ) we have the same thing frequently . We call it " Las Piedras " ( the stones ).

Makes up for all the small things in my life
yea, that is one I'll never forget, was very exciting. Checking out the damage after it left was earie, so quiet........was wierd

Are you kidding, that was awsome! I had a hailstone hit and spray me with ice shrapnel. Had ice frags in my shin. cleanest wound I ever had, no blood just icewater, thats why I love living here
