umm did you listen to the sound. the 4.3l v6 isnt a high revving engine redline around 5grand. that deff wasnt sped up. if so it woulda sounded like 10 grand remotely like an indy car. also awd hooks pretty well so launches look odd. look at a tt stealth/300gt evo stuff like that. the smoke did move fast but i think its legit you hafta listen that gives it away if its sped up.

Lol... who said anything about it being a stock motor asshole.... On stock syclones the boost target is 13.8 psi but you often see them hit a peak of 15-15.2 psi but will usually fall back almost to 12 psi. So basically you need a tune good enough for 15 psi but your engine will spend a bund of time in the 12-13psi. Ive seen stock SY's and TY's run 21psi... Ive owned a syclone and typhoon, so dont fucking try and tell me whats what. Get your facts fag.

Ok lets see here, you said "STOCK TY's and SY's run 16PSI boost". That would lead me to assume you were thinking this was a stock motor on 18psi through the 17c. He currently runs a 91mm turbo, this video is over 2 years old so I believe he had a 8xmm on there at the time. 18 psi on a big turbo is just a LITTLE different than a 17c at stock/just over stock boost.

GNX is not how you refer to a turbo G-Body, they made more than one variant so why pick the rarest one? Because you think GN/GNX is the same thing? It's not. Plus, it's not Cyclone, it's Syclone.

Moreso, they do no share the same engine, not at all. The G-Bodies got the 3.8 V6 and the Syclones and Typhoons got the 4.3 V6. The 4.3 was the same exact stock LB4 4.3 V6 that came in Blazers but with lower compression pistons. Stock rods/crank/heads.

@brettwrb the 3.8 is a buick v6. it was used in a lot of Gm's mid and full size cars. this truck sticks with the 4.3L as used in s10's and blazers in the early 90's. None the less, both engines are excellent runners and have withstood the test of time
