If i disenchant Novice Robes to make my magicka regen 50% faster It will drop a bit not sure how low. But if i bought master robes of restoration that make my magicka regen 100% faster will it drop to the same? Because what if at the start of the game i use something crap to disenchant then i get something good and i cant disenchant it? ty.
I'm so mad, I bought a greater soul gem and with the mace of bal something something I was planning on capturing a soul. But then I ran into a wolf and forgot I had my mace and I captured a petty soul. Is there any way to take a soul from a gem?
@TTownXxX I'd advise checking the invisible dawn star chest for a nice group of gems to start off with. Enchanting rooms in your use get a lot of gems also. Look up a guide on the chest, should just be under invisible chest
@LadyNinjaKagero Personally, If you wanted to sell stuff. And level your Speech. If you have the Amulet of Zenithar. Or Enchant Clothing and Armour with Prices are better. and so on, You can then Sell off Dragon Bones and Scales. If you don't feel like making Dragon Armour.. Those seem to be good ways in leveling Speech, So I've fond.
@Guru22007 - Sweet thanks, got my speech up and also made enough money selling off the daggers, armor with enchants. I'm saving my dragon bones/scales for dragon armor...just wish they weren't so heavy but thank goodness for staches :D
@LadyNinjaKagero hahah, This is why I love living in Whiterun. Over-Encombrence isn't an issue. Smithing Next Door. Alchemy and Enchanting in Dragons Reach.. Speech is one of those skills I really don't care about. But yeah. By the way, If you make a Set of Dragon Scale (Light) The Bones can be sold.. Daedric is better then Dragon. for Heavy. Although, Selling it will make you a nice profit haha.
@12HailFire simple solution, just...do the same thing you did before.. buy the iron, buy the straps, make more daggers. it's blacksmithing not rocket science :P
Alright idiots you get an enchant that says 8 health absorbs and one hat 20 u already have that enchant ment it will be the Same no matter how good it is can someone forward this it on every vid someone whines about it
this has been helpful but i am having a problem i have Fortify 1 Handed but when i click on the Enchantment it drops all the way down to 1% Increase, is this a glitch?
why is it better to use a bigger soul when creating an enchanted item, because when picking a soul gem the items stats don't seem to change, I know using a larger soul gem when the enchantment is depleted fills it up more, but what does creating that item with a bigger soul gem in the first place do?
@FlyingAce1016 The gem size determines how powerful or how many charges an enchantment will have, ie with low enhcanting and no perks you will see that fortify two handed can be enchanted with13-15% but this is with a grand soul, if you use a petty soul you will most likely get a 1-3% enchant
@broskielive wen ur a high lvl u can buy it i just bought 30% one handed ebony gaunlets disinchanted it and my sword hits da same as my cousins warhammer
@followernumber1 the only thing that counts is the enchantment not the amount. Your enchanting level determines the amount of enchantment put on whatever item. Make sense?
I disenchanted an item that absorbed 8 HP from the enemy, then tried to disenchant one that absorbed 20 HP but the game said I already had the enchantment. Does any one know how to work around this bug? And it was on 360 and it like that for all my enchanted items
Yer my smithings at 96, soo many stored daggers lol like 256 in chest at house n 50 i dropped near warmaidens, need loads of petty soul gems tho , i cant seem to get enough :(
I have glitch with magic staffs. They sometimes jam. Like the charge runs out but staff itself doesn't shoot? Is there anyway I can get that glitch away. I play on xbox.
thanks for mentioning that all the soul gems need to be filled, how fucking difficult is to actually fill them and the amount of fucking gems you would actually need to get to level 100.
@jordanbulldog the effect is dependant on your skill level so the higher your level the higher the effect, also if you drink an enchanting potion beforehand this will enhance the effect also
@MrTbmoller Ok so you first find an item with an enchantment on it then you go to an enchanting table theres one in whiterun in the castle and go disenchant and disenchant the item then you know how to make that enchantment
i use a enchantment that if i kill something within X seconds then it fills up a soul gem and i buy all the empty way and i go out and kill small stuff like deer goats esc. then when i need to just recharge the wepon with the gems i filled then with the left over i use to enchant/ recharge other items
How many Petty soul gems would I need to actually get 100 enchanting ? I am 50 Enchanting at the moment with 100 smithing, and buying "Petty Soul Gem (Petty)" would take forever cause the guy at Dragonsreach only has like 5...
Is there an effficiant way to get lots of soul gems ?
I have literally around 150 Petty Soul Gems just sitting around and I never thought to do this...wow I feel like an idiot. THANKS FOR THE GUIDE! Liked :D
@jackk123121 thats because they need to be filled with a soul. you can but them with souls or use the soul trap spell on enemies alternatively there are weapons enchanted that capture souls.
@jackk123121 Gems are everywhere. Find some kind of weapon that fills a soul gem. Like soul trap or the mace of molag bal. Thank me later for this unwanted information.
Quick question, can you enchant an item a second time? Cause i enchanted my daedric battle axe with fire damage early on in the game, but now, i want to change it and it wont let me. Is there a way to change it? thanks!
@chucklez117 Two options. Get the final perk of enchanting to add a second enchantment, or simply find Daedra heart, head towards Glombound mine and make another axe.
The only thing I don't like with these guides is they never say how to get loads of soul gems. I have a few soul gems, but to get enough for 100 enchanting.. that'l be a mission.
@TriviumBeGod use the 'sightless pit' cheat to get money. go to belethors in whiterun. buy all of his charged gems. save it. kill him. reload. repeat.
@WallisESG Just something I think you'd like to put in your description. You can find a good supply of filled soul gems in the invisible chest in Dawnstar. If you don't know where it is, look it up on youtube.
Too bad soon these wonderful guides will be obsolete. I love the guide, and it helps, but this is a simple EXP scaling issue. Enchanting with a petty soul gem gets you the same EXP as a Grand soul gem. Smiting an Iron daggers gives you the same EXP as a glass longsword. The exp for these skills needs serious scaling help honestly.
Otherwise, great video, and helpful :P. I'm gonna do this before a patch is released lol.
Disenchanting works too, and gives you more enchanting abilities, if you u find some worthless enchanted item & disenchant it you should gain exp as well as acquire a new enchanting skill
In every guide iv seen so far it always begins with "Take tons of iron dagger + easy way to get 100 blacksmithing to begin" Unfortunately not all people have 100 blacksmithing and not all people want it, I just sold my iron daggers which I sort of regret now obviously, but remember guys, you can enchant ANYTHING! It doesnt have to be iron daggers! Take fine clothes from barrels, shoes, rings, amulets that you picked up! ANY TRASH you can enchant will work!!!! Thumbs up so more can see!
@pspdudue23 why wouldnt you want it you can make daedric. But if you have like 96 conjuration you can do the master conjuration quest which gives you a sigil stone which can be used to make daedric stuff without smithing.
now can you use a lv100 alcehmy pot to boost alchemy to make a stronger pot to boost enchanting to enchant stronger effects? or perhaps keep doing it till you cap the effects...so say you boost a boosted pot on alchemy to boost an already boosted pot to enchant clothing to boost enchanting to boost enchanting to give further effects equalling to pretty much godmode on skyrim without console commands..you know check it out is all, thanks
@WallisESG so let me get this straight: If I have an Azura's star and a Daedric bow with soul trap (it's not strong). I can keep using my Azura's star as long as it's filled with a soul?
@WallisESG One more thing. I filled my Azura star but it has a lesser soul. Is it able to get a grand soul and if so do I need to use the lesser soul inside of it already before I get a grand soul?
Please note: as you level up in skyrim, so do the NPCs so doing this at level 1-5 isnt recommended because you will get your arse handed to you if you dont have decent gear
