  • YES DREAD INNA BABYLON NOT FOR FUN

  • Some people ah joker... Desmond "Desi Roots" Young cut de tune first (as he wrote it)! fe Jimmy Radway in '75ish.

Dis cut is later, clearly obvious by de production. BTW Sam Bramwell was de lead singer of The Chantells and passed away long ago. There is also a horns cut of this on a 12" only. Guh find dat on Ernie B's...LOL!

  • Yes I - Selection - Much Respect Axiom - Bless Up!

  • This cut is the original - Sam Bramwell.

Desi Roots has a cut to it....nice job by Desi too....and love how the bass on that cut bring it to life...

  • @chiwaled are you sure? Desmond did a couple of versions. The most famous stepper version and a rocksteady version that he did under the guise of Desmond Young. Sounds a little older and less mature, like a demo. Search for it at deadly dragon sound and you'll be able to hear it, in all its fuzzy glory.

  • @buckbumble you could be right...i havent heard the rocksteady version by desi roots/young....i'll definitely check it at deadly dragon...by the way what is the dragon up to these days? tell him i'll love to work a dance with him...
