I'm not saying the fighting is real, but you can be seriously injured doing the acting they are. Which is how you get famous enough for WWE ect unless you already had some fame from something else.

It's not fake at all. The moves obviously don't really hurt each other, but the moves are physically performed live by the wrestlers. In a way it's more impressive that they can find a way to throw somebody onto their head and NOT hurt them.
