@OonVeps ive done a bit of searching and while i've found others echoing what you've said i've found no official statement or interview about it. you're most probably correct but if you listen to it now it makes more sense that its about freddie's struggle with aids.

let's just say that when brian sings it its about his affair, and when freddie sings it its about his aids.

im just HOPING that those who didn't know this was by queen, that they'll "rediscover" and appreciate their genius.

And yes the song with it's lyrics really sound like its about Freddie's struggle with AIDS all the way and as I said after Freddies death Brian has been singing this related to Freddie. But lets not forget that this is a song written by Brian and they didn't know about Freddies struggle with AIDS for a long time. I have a video up with Brian singing this and lots of people have commented saying stuff like "Jovit is so much better". And I hate that people have done that!
