Teds head was frozen before the books author Larry Johnson ever worked for ALCOR...he was fired after 8 mts for trying to extort money. So the story needs to be taken with a grain of salt. Further more the guy is dead...WTF they cant do anything to him that can be worse then that...however there is a very remote but scientifically plausable possibility that at some far future date doctors could through cloning and nanotechnolgy...revive Ted with a new body...so WTF theres nothing to lose!
