my new year resolution: graduate from uni with at least 2.1

  • ^_^ ¡Feliz año nuevo! hehe I mean... happy new year :p I tasted a different ozoni, but i think this one is better, because of the variety of vegetables. And I think as well having the mochi roasted, would give it a really nice flavor :D. Thanks for sharing!!!

  • Very nice! Happy New Year!!

  • Jay,

    新年、明けましておめでとうございます。

    Hau'oli Makahiki Hou

  • Happy New Year, Jay!! Double thumbs up for sharing this light and soothing recipe to contrast the holiday "comforts" lol. Yummy! My resolution is produce my ass off - literally!

  • @TastyMemories For sure! I was at another family dinner last night and you know how we do...lol. I took home lumpia, lechon kawali, ribs, dessert and pancit. I have no idea what to do with it all.

  • Happy New Year ;D Yay! Japanese <3 btw, i eat white miso zoni ;)

  • @ochikeron is that Kansai style of ozoni?

  • @MrJingjong yes ;D

  • Happy New Years!

I think my new years resolution is to cook more!

  • lose weight. I know its clique (or however you spell it) and one Ive promised many times but Im determined this year. It wont be a perfect plan but I will do my best to stick to it this time. I wont kill myself over the times I'll slip up (its bound to happen) but I wont quit If I mess up like I have in the past

  • @ArielannaDragonBlood Y'know, when I worked at the Japanese restaurant, I lost a lot of weight. Mostly due to eating staff meals. We usually had lots of fish, a little rice, miso soup and lots of veg. When I was home, I did a lot of walking or biking. It shouldn't feel like a task, just take your time and start to build a habit.

  • @MrJingjong You are exactly right. I've tried making miso soup before and it never seems to look right. Its never as smooth as I've seen them made by others. I am trying to copy the Japanese diet and I think I'll apply that to this resolution and make time to make Japanese-style meals :) Thank you so much and Happy New Year!

  • Looks great Jay!!

  • resolution? just being happy.

  • @PlatypusGuitar Just do it. You won't believe the kinds of things that will happen.

  • Hey, you should add a clip at the end of you actually enjoying the food! :D

We want to see you savor the moment~

  • New Years Resolution: Cut red meats out of diet. Veggies, fruit, nuts, fish and poultry only. Speaking of which... perhaps you could cover a few veggie substitutes to replace the red meat in most people's diet? -Randy

  • Very healthy, I'm glad you are making more veggie dishes! :D

  • Thanks for the link, sir!

  • looks good...... I have a question, are you Japanese???

  • ^^ Your ingredients look very fresh. Your daughter is very cute as always. Happy new year. :) My new years resolution is to do (make) at least one happy thing everyday. :)

  • Not to make one for the past 10 years! And it worked every year :)

  • OH! New Years resolution is to eat more veggies. I quit smoking about 5 years ago and trying to maintain that healthy lifestyle. Thank God that my kids have not taken that lifestyle. :)))) HAPPY ABOUT THAT!!!!!

MrJingjong, your life will do splendidly well. :) Be good and stay positive!!!

  • WTF, who disliked this healthy recipe?

  • @Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh i think this is a typical youtube thing... if you noticed that most you tube views are in the hundreds while most posted are in the thousand... a glitch. :) allz good..

  • mmmmm

  • I WANT SOME OF THAT COOKING BRO

  • :d yummy! as for a resolution,it is to draw or paint at least once a week, to make a video each month, try a new food each week, and to read a new book a month!oh, and to expand my cooking menu with great foods like this!
