  • But which TATARI made that fake Tohno? i mean Shiki defeated both Dust of Osiris and White Len so there shouldn't be any doppelgangers left...

    Unless Sion inverted.

Or it wasn't a fake Tohno after all...

  • @Hibiki7soul The fragments of TATARI are rooted to Misaki itself.

  • I've always been captivated by that phrase. "A terrible smile comes upon me" It reminds me, in many animes, how in desperate times, the character seem like they are smiling while only their eye show their actual feelings. I wonder if that was the way that Archetype was smiling...

  • shiki vs ryougi huh? i knew they would do that

  • and besides, Ryougi can kill the unkilliability of Archetype Earth, and give her a good whiping for all the fuss she is making...

  • tohno is way overpowered... in a real fight, Ryougi will kill his knife, and slice-n-stab his ass until she get bored...

  • When most people realize their main advantage in fighting has been completely nullified, they get scared.

    Ryougi gets -excited-.

  • @Amraphenson Basically, she's thinking, "Yay, I was sick of not having to TRY in fights."

  • and the both shiki's dylema still alive XD

  • @XerBlade, Not run in with death, but rather viewing into the "core" of the original Archetype Ryougi which stems from Akasha, during the coma, which granted her by extension the ability to see flaws in matter.

For run in with death, that would be Tohno Shiki. Thus both eyes are different, and Tohno Shiki would be more specialised to kill living things. Tohno Shiki can see dots of death as well, places where the lines of death join or originate from, which Ryougi Shiki cannot see.

  • @LucarioluMangaArt Um... Ryougi can see the dots as well. Examples come to mind from part 5. Also, Tohno is specialized in killing EVERYTHING (in fact, he has HUGE focus on nonliving things), just as Ryougi is, his mind is merely less in natural tune with his ability.

Also, it's annoying when people correct someone (not just me) when they're not wrong. Her run-in with death was the CAUSE of the whole coma thing, was it not? How does being less specific somehow make it not true?

  • @LucarioluMangaArt And your statement that both eyes are somehow different is, for the lack of a better word, pointlessly stupid.

  • @XerBlade I think you are misinformed here. Ryougi's eyes CANNOT see dots of death. Tohno is specialized in killing LIVING things because of both his bloodline of Nanaya and because he was submerged in death. If Tohno eyes get suited to seeing the things of non-living things, eventually, his brain will burst under the strain.

BUT THE COMA WAS NOT THE CAUSE OF HER ABILITY TO SEE DEATH. Archetype Rougi already had the ability, that is if you watched the epilogue.

  • Your statement that the eyes are not different is even more moronic. Ryougi allows her to access " " and alter the records while Tohno's can only VIEW the records. How is that not different?

  • @LucarioluMangaArt *facepalm*

Ryougi's eyes don't allow her to alter the records, her body does.

And you've obviously never read the Kara no Kyoukai light novels nor the Tsukihime visual novel, so the fact that you actually think you can argue with me from that position astounds me.

  • What about watching the Kara no Kyoukai movies?

  • @AJ15ist It's not the same. Heck, the movies never even take the time to actually explain what's going on, nor what's going on in Shiki's head.

Also, Touko has short blue hair. Just throwing that out there.

  • Fine, and BTW, does this apply to the Fate/stay anime based on the Fate route and the Unlimited Blade Works movie, and the Tsukihime anime.

P.S. You probably know this (or not), did you know Keiichi Suzumura (Mikiya) and Maaya Sakamoto (Shiki) are married?

  • @AJ15ist It applies to Fate on a somewhat similar level, and, as for Tsukihime... the anime has practically nothing to do with the source material (many fans like to joke that it doesn't really exist and was just a bad dream).

And yes, and were you aware that their characters are (well, post KnK story anyway) as well and have a daughter?

  • Yes, and one thing, where is it stated Tokie Jinan was Shiki's (Tohno) "first?"

  • @AJ15ist It's never stated outright, only hinted, and it was in the side notes somewhere IIRC. I like to act like it's clearly stated though, whenever I'm joking around, because it's more fun that way.

  • Oh, and are you familiar with Angel Notes?

  • @AJ15ist Yes, and I think it's overrated, but hey, that's me.

  • How is Angel Notes overrated, and one thing, if they do a Heaven's Feel movie, do you think they should keep the H-scenes, like they did in the 3rd Kara no Kyoukai movie?

  • @AJ15ist Angel Notes is generally praised as some amazing thing by Nasu fans (as fandom tends to do), and then, when you read it, it's like... wow, there really isn't much to this. Even Nasu was kinda disappointed in it, lol.

I personally would be just fine with them removing the H scenes (and those things in KnK 3 aren't technically H scenes to begin with...). Regardless of what some idiots love to whine about (who have never actually PLAYED Realta Nua), the H scenes are NOT important.

  • Okay, thanks, and one thing, of all the Types/Ultimate Ones, who do you like best, for me,

    ORT/Type-Mercury.

  • @AJ15ist You do realize that, were I to say anything other than ORT, ORT would smite me in an instant, right?

*chants worriedly* In his house at 水晶渓谷, dead apostle ancestor ORT waits dreaming.

  • Never mind, anyways, are Archetype Earth (IE Arcueid) and Gaia the same?

  • @AJ15ist No, Gaia is the will of the planet itself, not a single entity. It's what's responsible for such things as the Counter Force (which Arc is a part of one aspect of), as well as the source of Arc's immortality+1 (in Ciel's True End, Shiki removed Arc's immortality+1 [Nrvnqsr described it as something even the word "immortal" fell short of describing, hence the +1 lol] by killing the local part of Gaia within the immediate area).

  • So killing Archetype Earth won't kill off Gaia, and one thing, how did Gaia die, which kicks off Notes?

  • @AJ15ist People killed her. The exact reason isn't specified, but I'm sure you can imagine how the human race might kill nature.

  • Thanks for clarifying that, and about Nasu stating Shiki (Ryougi) with Third Personality able to fight Servants defensively (and by extension, annihilate them and Types included), does phenomenon such as Tatari count?

  • @XerBlade It's porn, it's not wanted because it's important, it's wanted because it shows Sex, with people you might even genuinely like.

  • @AshokaAnandaeSaha Exactly. However, many people arguing that they shouldn't be taken out (and who like to whine about Realta Nua taking them out even though they never played it) apparently think they have to hide the fact that they're into that kind of thing (honestly, like you really need to hide your perverted side on the internet with people you'll probably never meet), perhaps they're even in denial, and try to say the reason is because it's uber-important to the story.

  • @XerBlade I still wanna find the related scenes somewhere^^

  • @AJ15ist I've been meaning to ask that as well. That and why nobody has made a doujinshi about that yet.

  • @AshokaAnandaeSaha It's not known at all outside of the die-hard Nasu fans.

  • @XerBlade D'awwww

  • @XerBlade That doesn't make the movies any less enjoyable or breathtaking. Except for the sixth i don't know what the was up with that.

  • @AshokaAnandaeSaha Hey, I thought the sixth was great. It was a bit of a let-down after the unadulterated awesome that was part 5, but that was inevitable from the start. Anything is going to look less good than it really should when it's following a masterpiece. Our expectations play a huge role in our perceptions, in all things.

  • @XerBlade I honestly thought it was badly directed. It made me think how much did they cut out from the original material. That is a thing an adaptation should not do.

  • @AshokaAnandaeSaha It's a thing which inevitably happens with every adaptation. I fault adaptations for major things they change into something completely different more than things they leave out.

  • @XerBlade Nono, I meant that it gave me a feeling that something vital was missing and I would see it if I read the novels it was based. If I had read the movels, I would've Identified this little something, but the thing is, I noticed with out even having read the books. That is why this adaptation wasn't that good.

  • @AshokaAnandaeSaha They didn't cut anything really vital, though.

  • @XerBlade The Germans have a saying: Der Teufel steckt im Detail. In other words, the fault may lie in missing details.

  • #XerBlade thank you

  • What is the name of the awesome song that plays at the end?

  • @SkyFranx The Ending Credits song? "Wandering in Torture"

Note there are 2 other End Credits themes, depending on what character you use: the "light" theme, "Everlasting Destiny", and the "dark" theme, "静寂のフォルティッシモ", or "Silent Fortissimo".

  • Ryougi have better control over the MEoDP

But Nanaya Clan > Ryougi Clan.

  • @Elshi3400 Everyone knows the Ryougi Clan owns all 3 of the other clans of the Demon Hunter Organization (besides, THEY'RE THE ONLY ONE THAT HASN'T BEEN DESTROYED), but whatever.

  • @XerBlade Nah Nanaya were the most pwerful Demon hunter clan till they got owned by Kishima + Tohno alliance.

The only reason i think Ryogi clan hasnt been destroyed is cus they retired from hunting demons.

STill that cant change the fact that Ryougi Shiki > Nanaya Shiki when MEoDp comes.

  • @Elshi3400 The reason the Nanaya were destroyed was because they DID retire from hunting demons. The only reason they avoided destruction for so long was because the rest of the Demon Hunter Organization had them under their protection.

Now that we have that out of the way, think about this: the only other clan of the Demon Hunter Organization besides the Nanaya that still existed by that point was Ryougi.

  • @XerBlade where does it say that? o-O i dont remember it from Knk, neither KT.

also the fact they existed doesnt make em, stronger than Nanayas.

you said it, Nanaya Kiri owned the whole tohno force just using a dam rod

even if the rest of the clan werent as good as Kiri, they would've been many times better than a Nanaya Shiki (who just by little training when kid, and genectic memory got olympic athletic skills)Still that really doesnt matter when u're fighting something that can face a servant

  • @Elshi3400 If you live, you win. If you die, you lose. By surviving, you are automatically superior to those that didn't. It's as simple as that. All the agility in the world is meaningless before that fact. It's not rocket science. It's common sense. You shouldn't need an encyclopedia to tell you that.

And as for where it said that... the fact that you're even asking that just shows that you've just been pulling all of this out of your ass this whole time. Let me guess, Type-Moon Wiki?

  • @Elshi3400 P.S. The Ryougi are superior mostly because they're SMARTER. A LOT smarter.

  • @Elshi3400 Oh, and you apparently missed this, but my whole point of the previous comment you just replied to was to point out that the Nanaya clan only survived as long as they did because the Ryougi had their backs.

  • @Elshi3400 Oh, and they didn't get owned by the Kishima + Tohno alliance. Rather, there was no such thing from the start. There was just the Tohno using the lone child of Kishima who had no will of his own as a pawn. And the entire Tohno force was annihilated by Nanaya Kiri alone (the only Nanaya who was actually worth anything...). A newly-awakened Kishima Kouma wiped out the entire Nanaya clan single-handed (literally, he just used one hand).

  • So, ArcheType Earth and Arc are one in the same

How come she never turned like that in any scenario of Tsukihime?

  • @HJKLMGPU See "Kagetsu Tohya - a day - Streets - Morning - Arcueid's room: Crimson nightmare" and "Kagetsu Tohya - Ten Nights of Dream - Crimson Moon". In that order.

  • @XerBlade Also, just for the fun of it, note that the end of the first of those is the source of Warc's special Last Arc against Shiki in Melty Blood. ^_^

  • "i Can Kill even A god" esos son huevos... ovarios en este caso de ryougi de decir eso (Transaltion: those are serious balls... ovaries in case of ryougi for saying that)

  • i love Shiki Ryougi she is my favorite character

  • It seems there is a misunderstanding here. Regarding who AE really is and who summoned RS to this universe. First, AE's profile:

The Princess of the True Ancestors. Arcueid's true form.

That which shows her side as the touch of the planet as the True Ancestor of highest grade of purity.

Not an alter ego of Arcueid, but one and the same as the normal her.

This version of her temporarily borrowed this body.

For Arcueid (her body) to become this form, she must take back her stolen hair.

  • Her profile explicitly states that AE is not Arc being manipulated by CM. So basically AE is Arc in her true form and capacity as the touch of the planet, Gaia temporarily gave her back her true form and power, she is completely unrelated to Dust of Osiris and the Tatari. And the one who summoned RS is not Arc but Alaya. In the original Japanese text AE didn't say "my vessel brought you here to get rif of me", she said "the target the Being that summoned you to eliminate is this vessel".

  • And why did this all happened? Because Alaya figured that even though they are allies with Gaia now, it didn't make a difference to do things now if they are going to be enemies later. That's what AE said "It has deemed that if they are fated to conflict, it is all the same to conclude things here". Arc and RS's personalities are also different because they are both playing according to the plans of Gaia and Alaya.

  • I have one last question. In the ending, AE said that her vessel brought R.Shiki to kill her. This is a bit confusing, because CMs vessel is Arc, but Arc doesn't have that kind of power, she can't summon someone to fight for her, right? I thought Ryougi was summoned by Alaya

  • @theleechqueen There are a million and one ways I could interpret that, so I'm not even going to try, so let me just throw out some key points most are based on:

-Arc is technically part of Gaia, and Alaya is as well.

-Ryougi is from a different universe from Melty Blood (or any Tohno Shiki-related universe for that matter), as well as a different time.

-AE was basically a "dream" envisioned by Osiris to begin with (that, as always, got out of hand).

-Ryougi's mind is connected to the Origin.

  • @XerBlade Not relating to this, But Aoko's sister who was mentioned in Tsukhime was also in Kara no Kyokai. so does that mean those two universes are connected somehow? or something with the Aozaki family? I dunno.. I'm confused

  • @dajamsteryo According to Word of God, Tsukihime and Kara no Kyoukai are separate but parallel universes (same for Fate [and, actually, all the routes in Tsukihime and Fate are parallel universes and all canon as well]). The Aozaki sisters exist in both Tsukihime and Kara no Kyoukai, however they are parallel versions of them. The only character known to exist as the same person in multiple universes is Wizard Marshall Zelretch, who possesses Second Magic, mastery of alternate possibilities.

  • @XerBlade thanks alot for clearing that up for me

  • @theleechqueen To answer your second question, CM takes the form of his host. So he's taking the form of Arc when she was at her strongest (her long haired form) but he can switch between long and short.

For the second question, I think even though CM possessed Arc's body, Arc still has some control over it. And since she didn't want humanity to die, she summoned Ryougi.

The Counter Force acts indirectly, so it probably used Arc to summon Ryougi, like what happened with Arayra in book 5.

  • Another question: She returned to her former self now (her long haired form)? Or the long haired Arcueid is just an illusion and she didn't physically returned to her former appearance? Because, if I am correct, that might explain as to why her sprites look the same in the game

  • But Arcueid looked like that hundreds of years ago, she had long hair on the past (before her sister cut it). Does this mean Arcueid's Crimson Moon personality and Arcueid's former self are the same? What's the difference between them?

  • @theleechqueen No, no, and just no. Appearance and personality are unrelated.

Crimson Moon merely takes that form because that's what Arcueid is "supposed" to look like.

Also, her sprites look the same because the designers didn't want to take all the time it would take to make a whole new character, lol (btw, making a completely new character in a sprite-based game is a huge deal).

Also, no, didn't return to a form, not an illusion, not... you know what? Just read the earlier comments.

  • I read the other comments. So you are saying CM takes that form because that's Arcueid's original form? I see. Also, you said a few times that this is the only ending Archetype Earth appears, but that is not true, she appears at the end of Roa's ending. In that ending something weird happens, Arcueid was killed by Roa and Gaia reboot her (or so it seems). Does this mean in Ryougi and Roa's endings she recovered the long hair she lost? Did Gaia completely remade her body? with long hair and all?

  • @theleechqueen In Roa's ending it is more Arc and less A-E. Doesn't count. Like I was getting at before, thinking that looking the same counts the same as being the same is just stupid.

And you obviously didn't understand the earlier comments if you read them. This Archetype:Earth is not real. It's a possibility imagined by Dust of Osiris, just like everything else in this game. Though the residual self-image of Crimson Moon within Arc's subconscious looks the same way.

  • This is a surprise, I never thought I would see her again like this, especially in Ryougi's AC Mode. I know she looks like Arcuied (probably manifesting in Arc's form) but she's definitely different. Someone help me explain who she is?

  • @leon4000 See the earlier comments on this video for the basic explanation, and see the early comments on v=sBCV7GuUYP0 for more in-depth.

  • The themesong that plays during Ryogi and Arcueid/Archetype Earth's convo during the credits... How is it called?

  • "wandering in torture"

And yes, that is one that is actually in English to begin with, hence the lack of capitalization, since that is they wrote it. And this ending theme happens to be exclusive to Ryougi Shiki (the other 2 are split among all the rest of the characters).

The other two ending themes for MBAA are "Everlasting Destiny" for the light version and "Seijaku no Foruteisshimo" for the dark version.

  • Comment removed

  • Hey, can anyone tell me the name of the theme at 0:26?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Unprecedented

Actress Again OST "All Over Melty Blood" Disc 2 Track 18.

And it actually starts at 0:23.

  • @XerBlade Thanks.

  • Comment removed

  • I have an idea.....if Ryougi Shiki cannot see the death of Archetype Earth, then if Ryougi Shiki simply eliminated the Earth which most likely has a death, wouldn't that nullify Archetype's supreme immortality and allow her to be killed?

  • Probably. She could also just skip a step and kill the Universe, therefore negating the need for the whole battle. See how fun straight logic with no purpose is?

  • It'd be awesome to see that though. I love the dialogue between Ryougi and Tohno and Archetype in this game. I can only hope that the PC version comes out in the future, or i'll have to import it and/or a ps2 from japan :(

  • @xXShinzouXx i read somewhere that the 3rd part of TYPE-MOON's Carnival Phantasm, which will be released some time in the end of this year, will be bundled with a PC version of MBAA :)

  • @tahtaadi It's supposed to ship with the BluRay of Season 3 (NOT episode 3, which is obviously already out..) on December 31. It's said on the Carnival Phantasm official Japanese website and nowhere else at this point, from what I can tell, so I wouldn't dismiss the possibility of it being a joke at this point.

Also, it's technically not THIS Actress Again, it's Actress Again Current Code, which originally started as a port of the PS2 version back to the Arcade and then had LOTS of changes made.

  • @XerBlade yes, what I mean by the 3rd part is season 3.. and I don't really know about melty blood, I only played this version of acress again. Anyway, it's just a port of the PS2 version to the arcade right? So, don't they have the same story? at least the character, with more game bugfixes, i think.

  • @tahtaadi Off the top of my head. there were some tweaks to the story, story added to a couple more characters that didn't have any before, a few more characters added, rebalances done, bugfixes, and a complete style selection was added to Archetype:Earth.

  • @tahtaadi Also, Carnival Phantasm Season 3 is not listed yet on any of the sites I normally buy imports from, nor several others I checked, as of yet, except for Amazon.co.jp, which is pure Japanese, so I'm in a bind with it for a few reasons, notable for this particular problem is that my kanji sucks ass, I can only read hiragana to any real effect, so it's kinda hard to see what it says about it accurately.

  • @XerBlade well, I haven't seen an accurate proof too, just saw some posts and some forums and wikipedia. But maybe because the season 2 isn't out yet, that's why they havent put the 3rd season for preorders.. And how about the vote on episode 4? is it for the 3rd season or 4th season, at least this won't be a joke i think.

anyway, let's just wait, hope for the best ^^

  • Didn't Tohno destroy the natural energy around the school in order to make at least the lines show up on Arcuied in Ciel's route in Tsukihime? Wouldn't it be like that on except on a larger scale?

  • Are you implying the universe could die? The lines of death only appear on things that already have an expirey date D:

  • It is said that Tohno Shiki keeps the point of death for the universe in mind in case at some point the universe ever needs ending. :P

  • P.S. Everything that has a beginning has an end. That is an absolute law within the Nasuverse. Otherworldly things seem to not have a death just because the Earth doesn't know of their ends, but it is technically possible for the Shikis to gain that understanding (hence Ryougi's line in her ending here, "I should start to understand it soon") by accessing much higher levels of information, but going too far with it could fry their own brains much the way Emiya Shirou did in Sparks Liner High.

  • Death and Birth are the same concepts in the nasuverse.

    Infinity=zero

    nothingness=everything

if we go by that logic that means that time, space, and everything in the nasuverse work cyclically. It's also stated that God-Mode Shiki can bring about the end of the universe by creating a new reality.

  • Eh, I guess my concepts of the universe don't apply for his

  • Of course not. You and Nasu are separate people. He has created his own universe, and that happens to be the universe in question, so...

  • @XerBlade Right. So the answer is: yes, you are implying that their universe has an end.

  • she already stated at the end of KnK7 that she could destroy the universe if she wished and bring a new one in it's place.

  • @Shinokyouku shiki said that? on which part? i've forgotten :D

  • @tahtaadi

It's the epilogue. Search for Void Shiki's True Power.

  • @Shinokyouku i see, now i remember. thanks!

  • @Shinokyouku *ahem* Just thought I'd point out that that wasn't THIS Ryougi Shiki, and that that also wasn't stated as an ability of the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, but rather an ability of the Origin.

  • @XerBlade

Mystic Eyes of Death Perception is an ability that is directly linked with to the Akasha. All aspects of Ryougi Shiki are still Ryougi Shiki, whether it's the male, the female, or the void that exist between. Hence her very long author-insertion monologue during the epilogue of KnK.

  • @Shinokyouku Of course they're all Ryougi Shiki. However, the "void" Ryougi Shiki still has abilities the others don't (by the way, that Ryougi was born with those abilities, but the M/F Ryougis were NOT born with the Mystic Eyes), abilities equivalent to basically a god, abilities that allow her to rewrite nature itself to her will. The Mystic Eyes of Death Perception are merely one small extension of that which the female Ryougi tapped into due to her run-in with death.

  • o and thanks for the video LOVE YOUR vids on melty blood related stuff. awesome stuff.

  • iccc thanks for answering my questions for this long lol. anyway time to say something related to the video..... ryougi is cool... but tohno i like better LOL.

  • ok i got that now lol. so my last question where does archetype story takes place in actress again? is she a cameo or a side story or is she only here for a plot device for ryougi? she still a question for me -.-

  • The entire basic story of Actress Again is that Dust of Osiris is predicting every single possible course of future events (which is essentially Sion's original idea behind her design for Osiris), so there never was really supposed to be any continuity to begin with. Archetype:Earth has really nothing to do with what we call the "main" story to begin with. She's just one of the possibilities generated by Dust of Osiris. And, like I said, the only time she appears in Arcade Mode is... right here.

  • i c thank for clearin that up. but i still like tohno better XD. also in this video ryougi admit she cant see her achetype lines cause death doesnt exist in her. so isnt the same with arc on the full moon since there basically the same or is that false?

  • Arc on full moon is "defined as immortal" by Gaia (so the lines do exist all the time, they are just hidden from view at certain times, some times more than others). Archetype:Earth has no record of life or death within Gaia to begin with.

It's a rather difficult to understand difference and how it affects anything, but that is what makes all the difference in the world.

  • i though tohno was stronger cause he can see the points of all living things and erase there existence in that moment. and ryougi can only *kill* what she cuts. so doesnt that make tohno stronger in Ability? hope you can clear this up for me.

  • Nasu has stated as a fact that Ryougi's ability is stronger than Tohno's.

Anyway, there's nothing that Tohno Shiki can do that Ryougi can't. It's a bit underrated due to the format of the Kara no Kyoukai movies, but, trust me, anything amazing Shiki has done with his eyes, Ryougi has topped it (...remember the time she "killed" Fujino's appendicitis, thus curing her?). On top of being able to "see" death like Tohno, she is able to "understand" it, and even see the result before even cutting it.

  • Interesting example I couldn't fit in anywhere within that comment but it needs to be brought to light as well: Ryougi has "killed" the DISTANCE between her and an enemy and therefore essentially teleported to her target.

  • Oh hey, I just remembered something very important about that.

According to Nasu, Tohno Shiki cannot see death on "outside existences," like the Servants, Arcueid on a full moon, Noble Phantasms, divine spirits, etc. However, it's also said that Ryougi Shiki CAN do that.

  • yeah, and if i'm recalling my info right, the reason is because of special circumstances, Ryougi isnt limited by human potential, while Tohno is. Tohno could POTENTIALLY do the higher things that Ryougi can, but he doesnt have the circumstances she does, so while they have the same power, Ryougi can access higher levels of it.

  • they recieved the eyes in the first place due to their closeness to death. Tohno is essentially a dead person to begin with, but was brought back with the power of vermillion, and because of that his pure eyes were able to evolve into MEoDP. Where as Ryougi was born with 2 halves a soul, giving access to the void from the start.

The hole became bigger after the male one died putting her in this constant death state. Essentially the requirements apprently to gain that power is to go to the end.

  • So is Archtype Earth an alternate personality of Arcueied

  • Yes and no. It's technically her ancestor who created all vampires, but at the same time it's a separate will existing within her which is also part of her. Tohno Shiki has had a couple lengthy conversations with her before while entering Arc's mind through a dream, and, in his opinion, she's just an aspect of Arcueid's personality that she doesn't want to accept. Note that an Arcueid who has completely merged with Crimson Moon would be basically the ultimate being.

  • Interesting... and are ryogui and shiki related by any chance

  • The ancestors of the Ryougi and Nanaya clans are supposedly related from centuries long past, but, other than that, no.

Also, they have the same Mystic Eyes, but Ryougi's are more powerful, she has more control over them, and she can turn hers off at will without needing something like Tohno/Nanaya Shiki's magic glasses to deactivate them.

  • Oh, and, one more much larger tie between them, note Tohno/Nanaya (real name is Nanaya but I think I'll stick to Tohno for the rest for convenience) Shiki received his glasses from Aozaki Aoko, whom he calls Sensei, known in the Magi Association as Blue and a sorceress who can use Fifth Magic. Well, she actually stole the "Mystic Eye Killer" she used to give those glasses their power from her older sister, Aozaki Touko, called Red by the MA, who Ryougi Shiki happens to work for.

  • Oh hey, and one interesting thing connecting Ryougi and Achetype:Earth within the confines of this game (besides the fact the Earth doesn't appear in anyone's story besides Ryougi [hence why I find Ryougi's story the most interesting in MBAA]). Both of their Last Arcs can kill in one hit.

Well, Archetype:Earth's is always a 1HKO. Ryougi's is if an opponent is in Heat or Blood Heat. Also, if one is hit with Ryougi's and survives, if they go into Heat after that they will basically fall over dead.

  • i see thanks for the info

  • Isn't Crimson Moon Brunestud Arcueid and Altrouge's father?

  • See the comments on v=sBCV7GuUYP0 because I don't feel like going over it again right now.

Also, the name Brunestud has nothing to do with familial relations (actually, all vampires originate from Crimson Moon, so...). It is simply given to someone who has close to Crimson Moon's original powers.

  • just who are those two women?!

  • I'm going to assume you mean the girl I'm playing as (name is everywhere, so I won't waste my time repeating it just to tell you) and the one she's talking to in the ending (Archetype:Earth AKA the Crimson Moon/Type-Moon within Arcueid).

Ryougi is the main character of Kara no Kyoukai, one of Nasu Kinoko's earlier works before founding Type-Moon and making Tsukihime (and recently adapted into a series of [rather popular] animated movies).
