Srikkanth.. you were my favorite batsman in the 80's more for your attitude and guts than anything else. You had the courage to take on the West Indian quicks in the initial overs. I still remember your 71 off 63 balls against WI in a seaming pitch in Mumbai when the rest of the team struggled. You also got a 65 in the 2nd innings. A pity we couldnt watch you bat in the era of batting power plays and T20. A request ...Can u upload your 57 vs England and 93 vs Australia in the 1985 B & H cup?
Thanks for videos. Good old days of circket when I used to watch Indian opening batsman just to watch Srikanth. Are there videos of Benson and Hedges (Australia) where Srikanth hammered most of the bowlers?? India went on to win the Trophy.
i just saw some of the videos uploaded here from your matches. just could not believe it, as i have been trying to obtain the same for a long time. i am big big fan of urs and just watching some of ur shots makes me feel to go out and try some of them. i am in usa, but used to watch ur srikanth presents on raj tv, and still trying to find a means to buy those videos. appreciate ur reply
Can someone uplad the century Sunil made in Delhi against the west indies where he hooked marshall repeatedly.. I think he made 129 or so that day..Also I searched and searched on youtube for some of Vishwanths innnings.. If someone can upload any of those . I would be grateful..
We thank you very much for showing interest in our videos. God has been kind to me to play with the greats of Indian cricket you have mentioned in your comment. It was always a pleasure to watch, Sunny leaving the moving deliveries. He has a very great technique. Kapil is one of the best all rounder cricket has ever produced. He was also a very good motivator. Jimmy is one of the very few players whom i have seen playing the hook shot to perfection.
Just to see Sunny raise his bat and walk down the pitch in his inimitable way brings goose pimples all over....I wish Cheeka could comment on his association with people of that era -- Sunny, Kapil, Dilip, Jimmy, etc. As a fan of these guys in that era, I am keen to know how they reacted to unfavorable situations, etc to get some personal inspiration for myself. Thanks Cheeka for all the memories.
