its based on the company..you go for the company apply..if they want you they will sponsor for the course..but its better you get the course yourself and then apply any company..

i suggest you do DP course..dynamic positioning...search for it..but you will work on offshore vessel..but DP have great wage in malaysia..i dont know about in other place

do they train you when you go offshore?

im 15 and will graduate next year b/c im in homeschool and ive done all my work for highschool almost so here soon ill be lookin for work and my girlfriends family does offshore stuff but i dont know what they do. i know one is a mechanic for transocean but would they train you?

@ilyrikki327 emergency response training (includes helicopter underwater escape training) , first aid, fast rescueboat, helicopter landing officer, fire fighting, ATEX (explosive atmosphere), dangerous goods, maritime and air communications, commander freefall life boat, certifications for high and low voltage switchgear, deckman for crane operations, safety for operational supervisors and some more... some need to be refreshed once a year, others 2 year up to 10 year validity
