and that's just one of the smaller party bands in Trinidad carnival ... there are different bands for different tastes and ages there are also floats and king and queen competitions for massive costumes and a whole host over other events that go with it... we have carnival SEASON not just 4 days before ash wednesday/lent we start partying from the first of january...

why are there so many haters out there, they were doing a small routine thats all, theses girls are amazing and i have seen the in action all of sydney dancing,
for those who feel that samaba should only be done in brazil u should be flattered that some ppl left your country and wanted to continue ur traditions somewhere else

@cindyaniston the southernmost island in the Caribbean you uneducated ass ..... and i've been to rio's carnival its big yes but all it is is once in a while u'll see a topless chick on a float you can't even follow the bands.. whereas in Trinidad it's all about participation u can follow .. Trinidad is where carnival originated btw

carnival is a very important day of celebration in the christian catholic faith, espeically for those living in south america. carnival means the last day of meat (who doesn't enjoy eating meat?) positioned a day before the beginning of lent, a fasting celebration.
