I Tried To Beat That boss and i spent literally 20 minutes on it trying to lower its health only to fail and I have my cat sith at level 18 and this guy had it at 1 and i could barely do any damage..... I am so pissed -.-*

@MountainDewFruit Did you play FFXIII? A lot of that stuff you're having trouble with gets explained in detail in the first game and only briefly in XIII-2. If I were you I'd either play the first game, or if you can't be bothered to, google the stuff you're having trouble with.

@FusionBBentley When you think about it from a revolutionary perspective, that style of gameplay and combat is monotonous and outdated, and therefore will not attract any new gamers. I loved it back in the old days, but you can actually FEEL that system getting old after playing FF games for like 100 times over. Grinding to high levels on one set of monsters only appeals to hardcore gamers.

And there's no reason to miss old FF's. Go replay them, duh. That's what I do. :P

@pixiri21 Well, it's more like XIII is a contained chase story (aside from Ch 11 which was a more 'leasurely' open world area). In contrast, XIII-2 is a 'future of Pulse/Cocoon' story.

If there's a XIII-3 at some point, I'd want/expect it to involve the direct exploration of the past civilizations of Pulse, as well as explore the gods of the story a ton more.
