But seriously, you have to be so friggin' lucky to find a shiny. I've played Pearl a lot and I still haven't found a shiny yet.

Shinies are the same as regulars, just differently coloured. They are not worth anything unless you are a collector or caught it yourself. They do not get stat boosts just because they're shiny.

i think lotta ppl cheat to get the shiny pokemon, which would make battling online not as fun cuz its not totally fair
