This guy has got to be the absolute lamest frontman in the history of rock. Even more lame than Axel Rose.
This pathetic lame-O actually thinks he's Jim Morrison. I mean, it is painfully obvious that this dude has rehearsed every single action of Morrison's, and copied him to the "T." Absolutely lame!
mi ha commosso questa canzone..grande il cantante..sembra stonato ma è la qualità del video che è bassa e semplifica le frequenze..ascoltatevi l'originale!!da brividi
the cult was my life, the cult is my life, the cult will be my life. all good things in my life was happened with the cult. my life is over while youres just beggin
both bands have some things same, but some things totaly different, Somtimes Ians woice sounds like Morissons, but Ians voice is alot better and stronger, and also i think musicaly the Cult is lot better than Doors
Truly great performance!Had an old video recording of the whole concert, went to put it on dvd the other day and it has died!Anyone out there got any more tracks from this performance or maybe the whole concert?

They really defy category. In their classic days they're real punk, real rock and roll, real metal and real new wave. And it works togehter because they have genuine old fashioned fuck-you-if-you-don't-like-it rock and roll attitude. The real thing.
The Cult seemed to exude an occultic influence on crowds of people. Did he members of this group belong to an actual cult or secret society in England? Will some one explain?
I loved this video. Dreamtime and Love are my favorite albums of these guys. I think they went in the wrong way after, with Electric, but I like all their albums anyway.
85 or 86?? Any morefootage of Phoenix or Resurrection Joe? and to think he went on to be in the Doors! They all said Love was Led Zep v Doors and they were right.
Ian looks pretty in it batting his eyelashes, but it's not my favorite rendition of it live. I think the one from The Ritz (which is on here) remains as good as any I've heard.

Actually, Ian Astbury was considered for the role of Jim Morrison for the Doors movie that Oliver Stone did... Val Kilmer got the part....
llamacide73 1 year ago
@llamacide73 Ian did better. He sang for Doors of the 21st Century with original members Robbie Krieger and Ray Manzarek.
