  • The speed goes up because you are creating a resonate tuned circuit when applying the inductive load. Try a resistive load, the speed will decrease.

  • @nikolayzou YOU ARE WRONG, TRY WATCHING THE OTHER VIDEOS BEFORE JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS

  • i think videos of "regenerative acceleration" have a better explanation and easier to understand and i'm building one for my collage assignment project.

  • What voltage and amperage is that setup currently producing?

  • At the current speed I am getting about 50ma and 1.9 volts straight from the coils. I find that by using the transformer the speed increases and so does the output . The output of course increases with speed. The transformer allows more current to flow through the coils due to the transformer primary being wrapped around a core which increases the current drawn. The core acts as a current amplifier in this case.

  • Nice machine,

but why are you filming it in total darkness ?

What is the output power of the machine

and what is the input power ?

What is the RPM exactly and

why are the LEDs all flickering ?

Could it be just impedance matching ?

    Many thanks.

    Regards, Stefan.

  • I filmed it in the dark to show the LEDS better. Meters aren't very accurate for this low speed, also causing flicker can't determine the output without a o'scope, and the output goes up as it is rotated faster. Can't be sure of the RPM. I can only guess that it turns faster because the current allowed through the coils repel the inductors more as they leave than as they are approaching the coils, due to the current flowing in the coils peaking as the inductors pass the coils midpoint.

  • This rocks Dan! I'm building a replication right now and should be ready to test soon. Thanks for sharing this!

  • Thanks, you can join my group also and I could post pictures and video on my website overunitybuilder com if you like. Check out my newest videos, much more output there, with 18 gauge wire coils.
